Solid balance board
A solid alternative to much pricier balance boards, with a very sturdy frame and attractive bamboo deck. However, I do have two complaints:1) After using the board for a little over 1 day, one of the rubber feet has already fallen off. This was glued on using an adhesive that is clearly not up to the job of sticking rubber to metal.2) The board was shipped in its box with no outer carton. This box was inadequately taped and arrived open. I assume the board fell out at some point in transit because it has some scuff marks/scratches on one corner of the frame. If I wasn't going to be standing on it all day, I would have asked for a replacement.Update: I have now been using this board for about a month. The edge of the deck is slightly higher than the metal frame and this has caused the bamboo edge to splinter. Several large pieces have come off, but this hasn't really effected the overall integrity of the board. All four rubber feet eventually fell off. I tried gluing them back on with an adhesive recommended for gluing rubber to metal, but within a few days they had fallen off again. This doesn't make any difference for me, because my office floor is carpeted; I'm just a little annoyed that the feet weren't attached in a way that would keep them stuck in place. I did seriously consider returning the board, but I still can't find a good alternative in this price range.Update: Still going strong after several years. Changing my rating to 5 stars. Just bought a second one for my home office. The rubber feet are attached better than on my first board.

Great board, but doesn't twist
I've had this board a few weeks now, and I really enjoy it. I use my standing desk so much more now because the motion this board allows is actually fun. The board is very sturdy and mostly stays in place pretty well.I have two complaints:1. The surface is hard, so my feet get sore after standing on it for more than 30-45 minutes. I just ordered a small anti-fatigue standing mat that I'll have to cut to fit this board - maybe that will help. But I wish this board came with the option of a correctly-sized cushioned mat. If my feet weren't in pain, I'd probably stand on this more than half time, if not full time.2. The description says "Stand Still | gently rock, tip, twist | aggressively balance, move & surf". I bought this model specifically because it said "twist". But it doesn't twist. The bottom of the ball is grippy rubber with knobs that make it even grippier, especially on the thin commercial carpet typically found in offices. The grippy rubber knobs are good for keeping it in place, but they completely prevent the board from twisting. You can force it to twist a little bit if you need to move it 1/2" forward or back, but you can not absent-mindedly twist while you're working. Also, while technically you can tip / rock forward and back, really the only motion that's at all natural is rocking side to side. It's really good for rocking side to side. Any other motion requires enough effort to make it a distraction from working.I'll keep this, because I really do enjoy the motion, and this is a very high quality board for this price point. But I'll probably also order a Fluidstance board because I really want the twisting motion, and I need a higher weight limit, so I'll end up ordering their top-of-the-line, which is ~4.5 times the price of this board. Alas. If only this board actually twisted....

Great balance board
This is my fourth balance board and it's the best I found for a standing desk.It has very good build quality, the rubber base provides buoyancy, the platform is stable enough for complex work and wide enough to enable a good workout.

Great for active or antsy standing desk users!
After we received standing desks in the office, my coworker purchased an anti-fatigue mat. It didn't seem like the answer for me, so I kept searching. Finding balance boards has changed entire office experience. Often antsy and needing to stretch, this Uncaged Ergonomics BASE+ balance board has allowed me hours of stretching and surfing and twisting. The bamboo board looks sleek. The metal frame is sturdy. The rubber bottom is well made too. Mine sits on a plastic computer chair mat and does occasionally squeak when I twist, but nothing that would be bothersome. If you have a standing desk, do yourself a favor and purchase this product. You'll not regret it!

Noisy and rubber bottom surface fell off after two weeks.

Got a return from someone else
The box it came with was clearly opened up by someone and the product has scratches and wear and tear from a previous user. This should have been marked as refurbished or something like that.

Very sturdy...
Great build and works great, but can benefit from being less "grippy" to allow you to spin more. But if you are looking to stand on a solid base, this can do it for an economical price. If you are looking for non-stop spinning, go for fluidstance instead.
