Quick smart socket set up!!!
Once ap is installed, the device was set up easily and quickly. I now have two working great! Christmas tree on a timer and the electric blanket so bed is warm by the time I go to bed. Great stuff!!

Wi-Fi plug
Great features and connectivity but not very sturdy mine fell apart when pulling out of socket exposing live contacts!glued it back together so safe again now but could have been dangerous

Great little smart plug.... but...
I bought this thinking it would be perfect for what I needed it for. It is... but.... I thought it would be straight forward to install and use. Straight forward to use, but getting it installed was very problematic. Nearly 100% of all smart plugs only work on the 2.4ghz signal on most people's WiFi signal. I've learnt a fair bit about the 2 combined signals that you're wifi broadcasts, but to install it you need to split the 2 frequencies. Generally not difficult but can be problematic. You'll need to log into your router and untick a "combine signal" box and also rename at least 1 of the frequencies so you know which one's which. I eventually managed it but with split frequencies you may then need to relink all your wireless devices as a lot will use 5ghz while some will use 2.4ghz. I wasn't prepared to relink my many devices so uninstalled the plug and will have another think about going through the same process again. For the record, while I had it working it was brilliant. I could switch on and off the device using my mobile virtually instantly. Annoyed though that I couldn't easily continue to use it. Haven't given up yet though !!
