Beautiful!!! A Large Turtle. The color is exactly like the Product Grass Pic, Not the Brown pics. For me, it's a little to mono-tone grey powder, so I teak oiled the shell and the change gave her needed contrast. I LOVE IT!!! Todd, our awesome grumpy tortoise. I spray laquered him so he’d stand up more to the elements. I’m assuming just like any other resin statue, they don’t get along with the sun too well. It gives him a nice waterproofing, I recommend if you purchase Todd, you do the same to protect him and his color from the sun. We’re pleased with the tortoise. Nice and large. Well built.

Todd the tortoise is meant for a gift, but I hesitate only because of the chips in paint and holes in the sculpture. For 159 dollars I expected more. If I was more crafty maybe I could cover him up. But I shouldn’t have to. Poor Todd looks like he was eaten up by termites, and has a third eye, but he’s not papermache. He is sturdy. Having the defects will expedite degradation I think. I hope my sister in-law can forgive the imperfections. I’m having a hard time with it myself.SunnyDaze was contacted via email. They were very helpful in replacing Todd with Todd#2, who shall be named Ted. Ted is great! Minor paint chip in the back you can hardly notice unless looking for it. Like I did. But is forgivable. So I am amending my previous three star review to five big stars for Ted. Ted will have a great home at my sister in-laws yard. The best part is there is no third eye! Or hole in his head! So very happy for Ted! Long live Ted!!!!

This thing is huge. When I unboxed, I couldn't stop laughing, I wanted it to make an impression and it certainly should. Glad I splurged on the bigger version, Todd. He looks great. I wouldn't say he's extremely realistic, but he's pretty darn close! I can lift him easily, but he seems pretty sturdy. The only thing I worry about is the paint enduring our fairly extreme Colorado weather gracefully. Instructions say to take him inside when it freezes, so he may overwinter in the garage to be safe. I may also coat his shell with a protective spray like others have suggested. Overall, I'm very excited about this guy. I will edit my review if I find he doesn't hold up in the sun and lighter snow over time.

I was looking for some lawn decorations as a subtle way of marking my property line. This seemed perfect when combined with a few other smaller purchases. Unfortunately, I recently discovered that it's not as strong as I had hoped. This turtle now has a dime-size hole on its side. I'm pretty disappointed because of how expensive it was.

This is a great bit of yard art, the size is impressive, I only wish the paint were more durable. Based on someone's suggestion to keep it from weathering, I used some lightly applied painter's tape - the blue stuff - to cover the legs and tail and neck so I could give the massive shell a coating of clear acrylic spray to keep it from suffering from the weather fading others have talked about. When I pulled off the tape from the extremities some paint came off with it, leaving the white plastic surface. Trying to touch it up now.

I have two (one 30" and one 20") both are on my brown rubber mulch along side the walk way to my front door. I couldn't be happier. Really just perfect for me. I've received several compliments already.I was concerned about receiving them in one piece but not only were they received as promised but in perfect shape. Packed so well and although they're sturdy enough to withstand any winds here in FL (other than a hurricane) I was relieved. But I also know Amazon is backing it so..... Anything Sunnydaze would be good to me. Now if I can just find a big alligator - not a little one......

This little fella is big enough not to get lost in a full garden and as adorable as I hoped. It was a gift to my son and his wife because they saw mine and loved it. I like that it is light and sturdy enough to move about as I create different focal points in my yard.
