Soft and Plushy
Very nice, soft, plushy, absorbent cotton squares. Per the package, I echo the recommendation of using these cotton squares for makeup removal and nail polish removal, as it holds a lot of product. I decided to use it for my facial toner and realized that it soaked up way too much toner and less on my face. It does leave a little cotton fuzz, but it's not too bad. Overall, very good cotton squares that are durable for makeup and nail polish removal.

Fluffy, soft and gentle
These are very fluffy and soft! They're a decent thickness also. I love the softness of them as I have rosacea and my skin is often inflamed. My old brand started crimping the edges and added an exfoliating side which my rosacea hates. So these gentle fluffy squares are my new cotton pads. I didn't have any reaction to anything that might be on the squares from manufacturing.

I don't like these
Unfortunately I'm not a fan. These are much too soft for my liking. I got them to use with nail polish remover and it leaves a lot of pieces of cotton on my nail. I also just don't like the feeling of the cotton itself... I don't know the scientific description, but for me it gives me the same uncomfortable feeling when you hear nails on a chalk board, only when I feel certain substances (bad word I know lol) I hope that makes sense! I think these are just way overpriced for the quality.

Not bad, not great
Quality could be better. They come apart and shed fibers more easily than other brands I’ve tried.

Rip while wiping off eye makeup, cotton pieces falling off
They come in a resealable plastic bag, that’s easy to open and reseal. Pinching one on top seems the best way to take a single one out otherwise I end grabbing 2-3 and shoving the extras back in, or they can be taken out and put into a container. I wanted to test one, and it ripped extremely easy by hand, I put no strength in it. I had mascara on so I added my makeup remover to it and began wiping off my mascara and the cotton pad began to stretch and rip a little. Now, maybe I was too rough, but I don’t think so, and while it didn’t leave cotton pieces on my face I did find 2 pieces on my shirt, and more on my counter.Overall, they would work if you are very gentle and only need to use with one swipe only, but honestly, from my experience, I would not recommend, and personally wouldn’t purchase in the future. From the date of my review, mine have an expiration date of May 2027.

Great for removing eye makeup!
I love that these to not ball up or shred. Great for taking off makeup, which is all I have used them for so far but I am sure you can use them for taking off nail polish and other things. Super absorbent and handy!

Soft, thick, quilted cotton squares but unfinished edges with “fluff” on each square.
Premium Degasa Beauty Pure Cotton Squares (160 count)I recently bought some other “cotton pads” ($7 for 200 pads), so I’m comparing these Degasa Beauty cotton squares ($8.49 for 160 squares when I ordered), to those.I could tell that these cotton squares were much thicker than the cotton pads I ordered just from the package. These are quilted, non-sterile, 100% cotton squares. The other brand is not quilted but are 100% cotton. These feel very soft (much softer than the others) but each square does have rough, unfinished edges. The package states they are non-shredding, but it doesn’t take much to pull one apart. They will work great for my purpose though – applying toner. I’ve used these twice now and no fluff was left on my face. The other cotton pads don’t have all the “fluff”. Both came in resealable bags, but the material of this bag is much thinner, and one side broke away from the seal on my second use. The bag will still seal, but it’s harder to manipulate now.Bottom line: these cotton squares feel more luxurious due to their quilting and thickness, but they do have a lot of “fluff” from the unfinished edges. Depending on what you will be using these for, they might be great, or you might want to look at other options. Made in Mexico.
