LOVE IT!!
Love this little guy! I had it in my Amazon cart for about a year, just not sure if it was worth the money. I watched the price drop, but still didn't want to pull the trigger. (Pardon the pun!) I received a $50 Amazon gift card and decided to use it for something special. Wouldn't you know,....the price had dropped to $50. Jackpot! No brainer! I had it about a week when I was laying landscaping blocks and ran across some roots that I was unable to pull or cut with pruners. I went to my trusty new power tool and was ready to charge to battery, but found that it was already fully charged! What a bonus! It worked like a charm! Easy to handle, easy to clean and super fun! Now I'm on the hunt for more challenging roots! Defiinitely recommend!!

Zeeksaw Mini Chainsaw 6 Inch Cordless,
If some are getting this, after years of cutting down trees, landscaping - you know what you are getting and can evaluate it well enough. However for a "new" to this person and for the price I got it for - I can recommend it. However, if you are "casual" or clumsy in ANY manner - use it the first time with someone who may mentor you in safety. Yes, it's far smaller than even the smallest gas powered, e.g. 16" chain saw, et alia - however no less dangerous - more so ? - since may take it for granted. So, if the components hold up, motor, batteries, charger, esp past a second season of use - it is a bargain.I had a 4" last season and this spring one batt pk didn't work and could not be fixed, and OEM no longer sells - (get another batt?). However, *this* one even at 21v (vs 36v of other and questioned it anyway!) ... works perfectly and so the charger all interchangeable. (They all appear this year to be 21v and same housing, configuration - generally speaking "generic-china" offering, in my observation, imo.)Anyway, this 6" is great and +- if a 4" is better or not. I was pruning fruit trees last year for 4" was better for that. This year - other stuff and the 6" is generally "better" +-.In any of these if get 2-batts and 2-chains - great. Most probably won't know how to sharpen, and may change to 2nd one - don't hit dirt, esp rocks and will last as-is long enough for the "home" project person. The plastic housing is heavy enough in all the components. This one with the twist nut not requiring a wrench to tighten chain is *great. The "screw" to adjust that further - would do well to provide a thumb adjustment too! The screw is tight and hard to get to - but functional. All in all, pending price point and if it lasts - great purchase imo.- I saw he ones with "oilers" but wondered if worth the + money and etc. On a "real" chainsaw, so to speak, it's a must. Her just keep a can of hand pump engine oil, or a spray as you like. You may likely have to oil the chain 1 - 3 x's per battery and clean it prior to storing. When "new" it *will* stretch (the chain) and settle in and you will have to adjust it in the first hour or so of use. Then should settle down. If it binds more and more and not from the Batt running down - oil it, clean it out, wipe it off when take a break.Again, if it lasts, but since appears interchangeable as commented, this one was the right price and lowest. This whole "power" and amps and volts stuff with this kind of thing, generally speaking is all "iffy" in my experience. This one, rated lower than last years operates/feels more robust all around. If anyone knows math and DC current and test "environments" and etc. - don't count on stuff being up to any precise spec from what I can see. They want them to work, and not bind so will likely make them to be functional - as I see/experience it - look at that with this stuff as I did - it's far less confusing. This one seems, w/o testing it with meters and etc. to be what they say it is. So, good enough in that regard for me - to qualify this of why 5-stars and etc. "over all". It could be better as I said, the blade tension adj screw - external thumb or less tight a spot and some kind of "proper" (proper) oiler would be great.I like that when/if binds (the chain) it stops (a good thing) and mostly when batt runs down - but, just back off or mind proper cutting protocol and keep the fresh batt handy. But at least one won't risk seeing blue smoke - if kept trying to cut like an AC unit may - good self protection I see in these.I hope that helps someone!(PS: for the price of a new batt to replace my old one - got this! And so, 2-batts and add'l charger etc.)

Powerful and Cuts Like Crazy
I purchased this solely for bushcraft means. Meaning to generate firewood. I have used this on a dead standing cherry tree and 2 dead standing "ironwood" or Hornbeam trees. The first was the cherry and it went through it like butter. Cutting 15 9" rounds on a 4" to 5" diameter cherry. Powerful. I cut 2 20 foot dead standing "ironwood" trees, a very dense hard hardwood, the king of campfire wood, burns hot and no sparks. I went through both batteries, one per tree. They were a solid 5" in diameter for the most part. Quick and efficient. Love this hand chainsaw. Made my work far less burdensome instead of using the Silky Big Boy. This is of course not a replacement for this most necessary woodsman saw. However, to go out and acquire hardwood for the up and coming year, the Zeeksaw has thus far performed flawlessly.Pros: light weight, 2 21 volt batteries, and a replacement chain. Very powerful as it wants to attack the wood. Batteries charge pretty quickly. Comfortable in the hand with a leather work glove. Easy to clean and oil. Nice safety switch to lock chain. Easy to remove chain cover. Nice safety features. The light is nice in a camping outing if ones gets to camp late and needs to process firewood in the dark.Cons:The two clamps on the plastic storage case are flimsy and I do not see them holding out over extended use.The oil bottle is absolutely useless. It is a suction bottle. There is no cap to unscrew to add the bar and chain oil. I had to go to the store to purchase a plastic bottle to suit this need. The safety glasses, gloves, and useless oil bottle are nice little throw ins. However, what would of been better would of been a hard plastic sleeve to go over the bar and chain with a bungee fastener. This would allow one to not have to lug the case around and would provide a far greater degree of safety when walking around one's property or in the woods with this hand chainsaw. As I relate to a bushcraft outing, it would be far more efficient for one to throw this thing into a satchel, haversack, or daypack with the hard plastic sleeve covering versus having to lug the case. This could also benefit those with property to carry the hand saw, batteries, and oil in a satchel as one traverses their property or woods. Another reason for this need for the sleeve is that the case clasps are flimsy and i do not see them lasting long. Which means the case becomes usesless for out in the field and can only be used as a storge bin in ones basement or garage. One would have to rig something ensure a tight enclosure. This further expounds on the need for a hard plastic bar sleeve for this little powerhouse of a saw. I found this to be the largest of the cons and I hope that Zeeksaw looks at this review.Overall: Great product. I have only used the saw twice thus far but with great results. It suited my needs and could not expect more from it as I was sawing 5" rounds of dense seasoned hardwood. I can see great work being done to green wood in trimming or clearing out. As for the longevity of the saw, time will tell. I looked at many reviews on You Tube before I purchased this item and am very pleased with it so far. If Zeeksaw added a suitable oil bottle for chain and bar oil and with a hardened plastic bar sleeve would propel this item to 5 stars. I can't wait to go out and use again.Update 1-19-24Took the Zeeksaw out to cut up some "ironwood", hop hornbeam rounds. I cut down a dead standing hornbeam about 25' two cuts at about 5" in diameter. I was able to cut about 9 more cuts to produce about 8 more rounds. During this time I went through both batteries and the unit timed out twice. This was heavy work. My suggestion is that 5" diameter seasoned wood is a lot to ask for this tool. I would not go more than 3" on seasoned wood. For much smaller uses this would perform much better and on green wood. So does this perform to what Zeeksaw suggests.......possibly. Go in with understanding of wht type of work you are expecting this tool to perform. Am I disappointed with it.....No not exactly. I just know it's limitations. Again. I purchased this to take down small 5" or less dead standing seasoned trees such as hornbeam, a very dense and hard wood. It cuts like a champ. I since have purchased a Wynex tactical pouch to field transport the tool, batteries, bar and chain oil, and the extra chain. Again, I purchased a far better bottle to store bar and chain oil at the dollar store and I was able to purchase plastic sheaths to go over the 6" chain which works very well. I just wish Zeeksaw would add this to the kit along with a suitable bar and chain oil container.

Great little product but limits
When purchased this I assumed it be a waste of money. But because it's so cheap I thought I'd give it a try. It's been very useful to me for cutting small limbs and not so small. I climbed a pecan tree to cut a limb that was probably 8 inches in circumference. Yes, I had to go at it from different angles to get it cut, but it was so easy to use. I could not have used a typucal chainsaw for the job. I recommend to neighbors, they seem to use the hands away more than I do. However, do not think this is a hedge trimmer, because it will not work for that. The stems and branches you cut with this need to be very rigid or it will chew up the branches and its a mess. Trust me, my neighbors and I have been too tempted to try and cut hedges or vines with it. It will NOT work of light weight of flexible branches and stems.
