Quality and ease of use

The reviews stating that the tape length was incorrectly specified as 8m almost made me not order this. However I had my doubts such claims could be true. I mean, come on, FOUR FEET? Surely not!So I ordered one this morning and it just's been delivered (thanks, Prime!). I decided to take the cassette apart and measure the tape myself. I found that it was 8.25 METRES (that is eight and a quarter meters, 825 cm, or a tad over 27 feet). So, either those other posters received a different or perhaps faulty product or didn't actually measure it.The cassette opens very easily if you're careful with it. Doing this made me wonder if I can find somewhere that sells the tape in large rolls because the cassettes are easily refillable. But I digress...Amazon should do something about inaccurate reviews because I nearly didn't order this.

Tape good but the sizing stated on the packaging and in marketing info is wrong. It states .8m (8 metres) but, in fact, the actual length of the tape is .08m (48 inches) quite a big difference to that stated, so value for money not as good as originally thought. The tape itself is good so no complaint about the quality, just the amount of tape stated is wrong and misleading.

Good to be able to find this product, which is compatible with my old label maker, at a very good price. It's important to note that each tape is only 47 inches long, not 8 metres (8m) as advertised. But the tapes work well and the labels look professional.

If you like me, like having a place for everything and everything in it's place; then this tape is the one for you. It is compatible with a multitude of the Brother Labelling Machines and prints your detail in black. With eight metres in length you should be able to list everything and everyone if you want.I use mine for filing mainly, but it can also be used for labelling shelves in the garage or shed, marking up dvd/cd shelves and books. It can also be useful for putting labels on various items to help someone who has memory problems. The list really does go on and so does the tape. The peel off backing can be a bit tricky at times but once you get used to it, it's fine.

Again this item arrived earlier than expected and is excellent value for money. If you go to a high street supplier you would pay up to three times the price. So well done excellent value and good prices.
