I cannot believe what a difference this product makes after putting about 5 drops in my palm and running it through my dry styled hair from mid length to especially the ends. You can just go - run your fingers through your hair with no catching or breaking!

Left my hair feeling super soft and shiny.
I have very dry hair as I've spent many years bleaching and colouring the heck out of it so was very excited to try this Philip Kinglsey Bond Builder Lipid Shield Hair Oil.I'm currently using a bond builder shampoo and conditioner and have previously used the much more expensive K18 Molecular Repair Hair Oil but didn't find that it made much of a difference. My hair is just below shoulder length so I applied 6 drops of the oil, which is a little different to measure as there's no dispenser on the bottle, you need to patiently hold it upside down and count the drops, into the palm of my hand and the spread the oil through from my mid lengths to my ends. There was definitely a smoothness that I could feel as I used a wet brush and had no tangles, after letting my hair air dry for 20 minutes and then finishing it off with a hair dryer, my hair felt really soft and the dry texture had improved to the point where my hair felt silky and was also very shiny.I applied a tiny bit more of the oil once my hair was dry to fully smooth out the little bit of frizz that was left.I think that for someone who has bleached, coloured or chemically treated their hair - this oil will be excellent and although it's a bit on the pricey side, it's given me a far better result than the K18 Hair Oil which is more than twice the cost. At a rough estimate, 30ml of this oil will probably last me three, maybe four months so I'd consider it worth the price. On a side note - I'm not seeing Silicone in the ingredient list and I'm also a bit amused as the instructions on the cardboard packaging say "For full directions, see inside carton" yet the inside of the carton is completely blank.

Philip Kingsley hair repair bind oil
I ordered this as I have been loosing my hair due to the menopause so I’m having to be very careful about what I use.I have had a very well known branded treatment however the cost and amount you get is not tenable for me.This oil promises to help strengthen and bind build the inner cores of your hair to prevent breakage give it strength and help tame the frizz giving a smoother look to your hair.Upon using it I realised you actually don’t need a lot of the product as a little seems to go along way which is great.I think if you used too much then you may find it heavy or greasy. It has a very light fragrance but it is pleasant to use.Usually I apply sever things on my hair but for this I just used this to see how my hair felt afterwards.Overall I found that my brush glided through my hair a lot easier and it reduced the knots. The end result was great. I had a noticeable change in the sheen and texture on my hair.It is too soon to say if it has made that long term repairs but I can certainly see the benefits already. It is in my opinion at a very fair price point and will last much longer than the bigger brands.I will be using this regularly as part of my routine and I would highly recommend you give it a go as there seems to be a lot of benefits in that little bottle 😊

Nourishing
Years of colouring have left my hair dry and a bit frizzy. However, this condition does make my fine hair appear thicker. I came across this bond builder and thought I'd give it a shot to see if it could give me the hair of my dreams. It's designed for dry, damaged, coloured hair. You just need five or six drops on towel-dried hair. It has smoothed my frizz and added shine but has reduced some of my volume. Since I'm often in a rush, I usually let my hair air dry. I may need to use a hot brush to add some volume.I sometimes struggle with greasy hair when using oils, but that's not the case with this product. It is nourishing, and I plan to continue using it.The bottle contains only 30ml, but since you only need five or six drops, it should last a long time.

Very expensive, pleasant citrus smell and but no miracles performed
This is a high-end bond builder at a high-end price. The instructions recommend 5-6 drops but definitely more is needed than that - around double for shoulder-length, thick curly hair. When using 10-12 drops it gives a good amount of oil to run through hair and de-frizz it slightly. As it's 30ml and only drops are required then it will last a while but is rather expensive. Definitely paying for the brand name.Doesn't work on dry ends particularly well unfortunately in our experience. The smell is not over-powering but leaves a pleasant citrus aroma in your hair after application.Overall 3 stars from us as it's just so expensive compared to others we've tried that have similar results. Won't be a repeat purchase at the current £29 price for sure.
