Top Trumps: Elements Cards – Large Print, 23 July 2014

We have quite a few top trumps games as we usually get them for the kids stockings at Christmas, so there is always a danger of it being a bit samey. This set is great cos my kids are enjoying learning the facts about the elements, and we’ve been learning a few things too!

I tutor neurodiverse students. Highly engaging game to make the periodic table accessible, with extra information to promote discussions or apply with quantum theory. Many more uses than just Top Trumps generic gameplay.

Nice Top Trumps although it didn't come with a container like the others we've had.

Bought these for a mate who is a chemistry teacher at a local high school. He loved them.

My son loves these, he’s been poring over them for days now and knows so many things about the elements already. We can’t get a game going though as he just wants to read them and learn. I’m sure we’ll get there soon. Great product, ideal for year 6 going into year 7. Well made and the carry case is perfect for keeping them together.

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend and they're great fun! You learn some cool facts about the elements and I was quite surprised by certain things, such as the most expensive element included in the set. My only criticism is that it doesn't include every element and so wouldn't double up as a make-your-own periodic table, which would have been good practice for learning to put them in the right order. Still, it isn't sold as having them all and as a game is perfectly good fun!

This is great to use for my students as a way to learn the names of the elements and what they’re used in.
