A more economical solution then buying the blephaclean wipes; this is based on a micellar formula to clean eyelids and lid margins to control blepharitis or just to clean this delicate area effectively even to rrmove makeup. This is the same product recommended by Optometrists to clean eyelids effectively.

These wipes are fresh and relieve my eyes of pain and discomfort. I use them night and morning to make my eyes more comfortable, with less pain and discomfort. Ok. Water and a cotton pad would do for me. It does slightly sting like others have said. Not a harsh sting. I don't have eczema. Yes always keep eyes closed and use a small amount of lotion. I prefer the gel.
