Useful height fine tuner
If your tripod is the type that you lift to your desired height, then lock, it can be quite difficult to get the laser level height just right. This gadget allows you to smoothly adjust the vertical position. It has a round knob on the side that moves the stage up and down when you rotate it, and wrapped around it is the position lock. My only issue with this device is that when you twist the lock knob, it changes the height a bit. It would have been nice if the lock and adjustment knob were not together.This bracket mounts on a regular camera/tripod threaded stud or a larger version that I have not seen before. It also has fairly strong magnets, so you can skip the tripod completely if you have a ferrous steel surface handy.Overall, this adjustable bracket is not perfect, but it's pretty useful anyway.
