Strong container.

Airtight and leakproof
You can use this container for storing all sorts of things , particularly when travelling , as well . Perfect for nuts, oils, fruits, biscuits etc .I had one half filled with olive oil, in my suitcase , when travelling around the UK. Not a drop was spilled. Great value if you buy at the right time .

Rice cakes container!

Bit smaller than needed but great condition.
Replacement for 1 litre Snap and Snap pot whose tabs had broken off. This is 900 mil pot and whilst it works well and is very sturdy it is not quite bid enough for 4 helpings of soup.

Definitely leak proof! Lid thread not machined that well
Both good and bad - it is certainly leak proof - you can fill it with water and it just doesn't leak. This is great, no worries about making my work bag mucky even with soup for lunch taken to work.The lid doesn't always align perfectly, and frustratingly requires a number of attempts to do it up fully. Most times you are there faffing around with it.Otherwise this is sturdy, looks pretty good, is sensibly sized and does the job nicely.

I was looking for a storage container to put my rice cakes in but there are so many sizes to choose from. This 1.9litre is exactly right for it, the width and height are perfect.

endlich mal eine richtig dichte Dose fĂĽr unterwegs
angenehme Ăśberraschung: ich erwartete laut Beschreibung nur die groĂźe Dose, aber darin waren noch zwei kleinere.Die sind alle sehr dicht.Leider habe ich runde Dosen mit Schraubverschluss nie im Laden oder Kaufhaus gefunden.Jetzt ist nur zu hoffen, dass, wie bei vielen anderen Dosen, der Dichtungsgummi nicht irgendwann klebrig wird.
