From someone who has not played the full size version I love this! Was looking for something easy to pack for holiday and this was perfect. Many hours spent playing in the evenings. The size is perfect to pack in a suitcase and love that it comes with its own carry bag so you don’t have to use the box. The quality is amazing and love the tactile tiles, it’s so pretty and is a fun and easy game to pick up. It also comes with an option to create your own wall so the complexity can be changed. Great game with lots of replayability and good for couples or larger groups alike

Just got into Azul. Very easy to learn and various different tactics to get different scores.Love the travel size of this version though the Disks that you deal tiles onto are just flimsy card so doubt they will last well if we take this game away with us often. Which is the plan.Would definitely recommend the game still though

Son’s review:When I discovered that my mum yearned to play Azul but would not buy it herself, I instantly decided that it would soon be my gift to her for Christmas. However, after a thorough check on various buying options, I found that it was not a game that I could afford to purchase. Disheartened at this realisation, I decided to conduct further searches on different similar games. It was then that I spontaneously found an item that caught my eye: Azul Mini, £19.00. After a complete research on this affordable version of Azul, I came to the conclusion that it was a satisfactory enough game. A few days after Christmas, my mother and I read the rules and played the game for the first time. We both found it an exceptional version of Azul in all different areas, ranging from price to quality. The rules were also perfectly clear and straightforward. The construction of the game itself was also satisfactory.With regards to the game itself, the components are of a quality that exceeded my expectations greatly. It lives up to its purpose of being a travel version, containing 4 sturdy game boards, a small plastic game tray and an ornate bag that contains the intricately decorated plastic tiles. When first shipped, everything is contained in a simple yet colourful box.Overall, it is an extremely fun, enjoyable experience.

I have the main board game and decided to purchase the travel version too. The game is easy to play, engaging and fun just like the main board game but on a smaller scale. I'm really glad I bought this.

Great game!

This is a great little compact version of one of my favourite quick games to play with family and friends which I often bring on trips anyway. However, they missed a major opportunity to make it even more travel-friendly and functional: the tiles don't click into the plastic boards! So for that I had to dock one star. Otherwise a great version of a great game!

Great game for travellingGood price too

This is the second we’ve bought so that it can be played with up to 8 people now. Very simple to learn but hours of fun as no 2 games are the same.Great size to take away on holiday but also great to play at home.It just looks beautiful and is good quality.
