WONDERFUL STUFF
Excellent value & swift delivery. My 6 month old puppy curled up on it almost before it was out of the packaging.Have used vet bed for various animals over the years & it definitely is the most hygienic bedding. Also use it to cover car seat as protection against muddy or sandy pup, who prefers vet bed to towels or blankets every time.Have also lined the cat carrier with it & puss likes it too.Was slightly worried this might be slightly sub standard because of the price, rest assured this is NOT the case.

Definitely recommend it - I've used it for a while and also similar type of pet bedding for years. Easily washed.
As a dog breeder in the past I have always used vet bedding. I've used many makes. This particular type is of excellent quality.I've purchased it for my cats to protect my sofa from scratches. And for them to have in the shed.I couldn't praise it high enough. When I used it in the past - and puppies had an accident the liquid would just drain straight to the bottom leaving the puppies laying on the dry part - so this might be also very helpful for older incontinent pets.It is very good for providing the pets with comfort - for long limbed dogs - or older dogs with achey joints. It holds warmth well. It's extremely easy to clean - wash in washing machine with no fabric conditioner to retain the vet bed properties. It dries very quickly.I used to purchase the original vet bed type of bedding but it was so expensive - this is much better price and just as good quality.

Not for destructive doggies!
Bought as one of my English Bulldogs consistently wet her bed, I purchased two for their two raised pet beds. They both saw the new big fluffy things as a toy and so one has been ripped and now looks a bit worse for wear! She has wet them a couple of times but they are easily washable (as long as you can get it in your washing machine, I can only fit one in on it's own) and I let it air-dry. The one issue I have with them is that they malt even more than the dogs, even after a few washes they still leave piles of fluff everywhere which is a bit of a pain as it means you clean a lot and it gets stuck to clothes. I'm glad I've tried it out on my dogs but personally I wouldn't re-purchase once they need to be binned.

Great undestroyable dog bed.
My dog, in his very short life, has had various cushions, blankets, etc. Blankets he would dig and extract from his basket, stuffed cushion he would rip apart and empty, waterproof he wouldn't even sit on and so on. Someone with the same problem told me they used an old carpet and it worked a treat with the anti slip cover underneath. I didn't have any carpet in hand so started to surf on Internet to find ideas and found this one. I had to cut it into the shape of my oval plastic basket. I put 4 Velcros to secure it and job done. My dog has a comfy basket and can't destroy it. Very happy with it. I haven't wash it yet so I don't know how it's going to be, but will try low degrees first. Highly recommended.

It would have been better to have bought the vet mat with anti slip ...
We bought this to put on a raised pet bed (Coolaro. It came up as items often bought together. It fitted well on the bed, but it does not have any way to attach to the bed. It would have been better to have bought the vet mat with anti slip backing for this purpose. I am going to make straps for the sides to hold it on the bed. I think it would probably slip a bit in a cage, but did not appear to move much on our wooden floor when I tried it there. The dog loves sleeping on the matting on top of his bed. When I put it on the floor he was really happy to sleep there too. It is really plush and warm. Great for our dog who gets very stiff. I wish I had bought this for all of the beds he has had in the past. Well worth the money - I think I will be buying more for the car, in front of the fire and at my mum's!

My dog loves it
The minute I pulled it out of the bag & lay it out on the floor to look at it my dog ran on it and started to roll on his back with his legs in the air, he loved it. Its very thick but lovely and soft to the touch. I bought it for the car seat & to go in caravan. Wish I had bought 2 or 3 now as the price of the postage is very expensive adding half the price of the rug on top of the item! That is my only critisism of this item.

Practical, cheap and brilliant bedding
I've used this before but I bought it from my dog food supplier for a lot more money. I cut it in half, as half fits the hard plastic dog bed I have and two spaniels sleep in the bed together. So cheap as it is, it works out even cheaper when cut in half. It is a cosy product and washes well. I hoover mine too!! I wouldn't use anything else.

... old aunt as her ankles were developing bed sore like painful areas
We bought this in an "emergency" for our 93 year old aunt as her ankles were developing bed sore like painful areas. We put it in her bed for relief and warmth and she loves it. Dare say pets would love it too! We are going to use some more on the footstool too. Not keen on colour hence 4* but that's only quibble and daft one at that!
