Although I’m an athlete myself, I actually purchased these for work as a mechanic! They definitely have helped avoid knee injuries in the shop and the support they give throughout the day is perfect!

The sleeves feel high quality and look great but the sizing is way small. I could barely pull them over the knee because they were so crazy tight on my calves.The sizing guide is flawed because the size of your thighs or calves will determine fit more than your kneecap circumference which the sizing chart uses. If you have skinny calves or thighs these will probably fit but if you have decently big calves or thighs they will be way too tight following the given guide.I measured at just over 14” at knee so thought a medium should be fine for a snug fit but my calf is 15” and the bottom of the sleeve is so tight it cuts off circulation and it’s a struggle to even get them up that highThankfully these will fit my wife so I’m keeping them for her and reordering a size up but buyer beware that if you have developed legs you may need to size up

I do a lot of photography so when kneeling these are the perfect pads underneath my pants, plus they help support my knees on the long climbs up, or descents down.

Review 1/92020:Had my squat and leg session today. originally I didn't like that they weren't as snug as I am typically use to. BUT, I do have to say after wearing them for 2 hours, they are quite comfortable and do keep my knees warm (sweating really) and they have a bit of spring in them. All in all, 5 Stars. I'll return after a few months of using them.Review 1/8/2020:Just received. Ordered based on the size chart, and from what others were saying are these are "really snug". Received them today, and they aren't as snug as I imagined based on others. I could have sized down and been good. The people reviewing probably (IMO) are probably average lifters. I, on the other hand, am an aggressive lifter i.e. when I squat I do a minimum of 100 squats on volume days, and on max effort days I put up 500+ (Max is 565 @ 198lbs). So when I wear sleeves I like a bit more support and compression. Again initial feel when putting them on. They seem very solid, up there with competitors. Easy on, which is always a plus!! I'll be doing a volume leg day tomorrow at 4:30am MST. I'll report back on how they held up and if the downing a size is really necessary.

If you do any serious lifting these probably won't last too long. Had about two months of heavy leg days and started getting lots of tearing/separation in the actual material underneath.

I love these knee sleeves. They save my life when im heavy lifting. They are very thick so to avoid getting too hot, I roll them down to my ankles in between sets.

but i have used them for basketball, and they are great. offer great support and compression. before these i used hinged knee braces on both knees, but those become bulky and are expensive for good quality. i have some loss of cartilage in my left knee, and my right knee is bone on bone, and i found out today at the doctor that i am now getting bone spurring on the inside of the right knee, as well as a bowing effect of the right knee. i have been asked to discontinue playing basketball by my physicians. and i would, if these did not provide the excellent support and i required to continue destroying my body in the name of my youth... ill be 45 this year. and im very much obese... but whatever... basketball is life.... i will continue to reorder these as necessary, or until my right knee falls off in the middle of a game.

The boyfriend absolutely needs these to work out and has gone through quite a few pairs. These ones have seem to have held up and he said they are thicker as well as better stitching as other ones he’s purchased. I got them for him for Christmas and they are still going strong perfect support for knees!

These are good. I like that I can machine wash them and they air dry by the next day. They can be tight when doing squats and other weight training activities but still would recommend for knee support
