LOVE THIS STUFF AND SO DO MY LIZARDS
Ok I know it's pricey.... but it's worth it. My Rankin's Dragons (pygmy bearded dragons) are LOVING digging in this stuff! It's super cool to see them exhibiting natural behaviors in real Australian sand. My favorite thing about this product is that it's actually not that dusty.... which is a HUGE plus in my book, and makes the cost worth it. A lot of the cheaper sand products on the market are SUPER dusty and it's a pain to deal with any of them, which is part of why I tried this. The main reason I spent the money on this is because I try to keep my animals as naturalistic as possible. I couldn't resist giving my Aussie lizards some Aussie substrate. It's heavy stuff of course, but all the sand products are. Lovely reddish color but so far it's not discoloring them like some of the other cheaper, more common reptile sands. I know a lot of people are going to scoff at the price, but hey keeping animals is pricey, and keeping them happy and healthy is worth it!

So beautiful once it’s in
I was actually really lucky at the time I purchased these. I thought $37 a bag was bad but now they have jumped up to $49.95 a bag. I had to put 4 bags in my newly built enclosure. 5x3x3. It was pretty big. It is great sand and it comes from there native land so it can’t hurt them. I love the color and cleaning up is a breeze

Beardy favorite sand
This was pricey but totally worth the money. I mixed this with substrate for my beardy and she absolutely loves it so much! She digs so much more now and will just make a small hole and lay in it for comfort.

Easy to use
Excellent substrate for dragons that don’t eat sand. Good mix of small rocks in it too. My beardie enjoys digging in his cave in the brumating months. You do need several bags worth depending on how big your enclosure is. I have a rock wall divider which allowed me to have a sand side and plastic liner/paper-towel side so he wasn’t eating on the sand.

Good sand
I really like this sand substrate for my bearded dragon. Its color is a nice red. The sand is great quality and is soft. No color transfer to my dragon. 20 lbs. is not enough for a good covering of substrate. I don't like how expensive it is.

You literally cant pick a better substrate for your central Australian reptiles.
Bearded dragon loves this stuff- though when i first put him on it he tried kicking a small pebble he was inadvertently kicking around. after he realized it wasn't a bug though he quit trying to eat the substrate and I've not been terribly worried about it. I'm docking a star because this simply isn't enough for even a 40 gallon. if you are wanting to use only Australian sand in your bearded dragons 120 gallon you may need to get at least 2 20lb bags- maybe 3. as far as value- if you are looking for substrate for more than 1 animal you may find better value in play sand + topsoil mix but if you want the best for your beardie or other Australian desert dweller you quite literally cant get better. its nice and rough to help with sheading and promotes natural posture for your lizard and it being sand makes it easy to remove solid waste.

Bearded dragon loves it!
My dragon loves this sand. The color is natural so I do not have to worry about harmful dyes. She is able to dig like she likes to without me worrying about small particles getting in her eyes.
