That is still a negative result. The results must be read at exactly 7 minutes. The results that you see at 7 minutes is the correct and accurate reading. Anything that develops after 7 minutes, is an invalid reading.

SpermCheck Fertility will provide a negative result if the sperm count is below 20 million sperm/ml and a positive result if the sperm count is above 20 million sperm/ml. At the time SpermCheck Fertility was FDA approved, per the World Health Organization, a sperm count below 20 million sperm/ml is considered to be at a sub-fertile level but not infertile. A sperm count below 20 million sperm/ml could still result in a pregnancy. In summary, receiving a negative SpermCheck Fertility result (below 20 million sperm/ml.) indicating sub-fertility does not mean that the male is sterile (below 250,000 sperm/ml.). SpermCheck Fertility is not an appropriate test for post-vasectomy testing.
