It's an excellent unit for the price and I like the wide angle dashcam. The unit hasn't had any issues connecting to Android Auto. There's a lot of settings including the recording quality of the dashcam. If youwant full resolution you need to select the 2.5k setting manually. It looks to be set up for more storage space initially not quality of recordings. I got the unit and set it up before mounting it in my car. That's when I found an issue with the included sticky pad for the mount. I contacted customer service via the company website and was sent a replacement pad. Was very easy and customer service was extremely quick to respond. Thanks Mia for the assistance and replacement mounting pad.

I am glad I chose this smart screen to update my 2012 Kia Sorento. I am using it with wireless android auto and so far is working flawlessly. It connects almost immediately as soon as I turn on my car. I use maps and play music with no problems through my car audio Bluetooth. And also has a front camera dvr, wich is a plus. I haven't installed the backup camera because I don't need it for now. Overall I am very happy with this product.

If you leave in a hot place like Florida don't buy it.... It will peel off with the heat and in my case it ripped off a piece of my dashboard. Also it doesn't gives you the date stamp of the recording,.Really bad quality! I couldn't get a refund this happened after the 30 days. Amazon should be more accountable for items like this....

It is a very convenient way to add modern functionality to an older car or a car that doesn't have native Android Auto or Carplay. It has been the perfect solution for modernizing my 2013 Cube. I had a small issue with my unit and the company reached out to me to make things right. I cannot speak highly enough of the fantastic customer support team!

In general, this thing works very well. I like that it's wider than our old one and doesn't sit up very high. This makes it much easier to see over. The dash cam on the back is surprisingly good and it's easy to access the videos on the screen or by taking out the micro sd card. I also got it on sale for something like $75 to $80. The screen resolution is good. It's not the brightest or the most color accurate but I'm also comparing that to our old one that was much more expensive. If it's turned towards the driver or in front of the driver, you can see it fine. Even at an angle (like from the passenger side) it's still plenty visible. Think not terrible expensive table viewing angles. The colors look just a tad washed out compared to our old one but I might not have noticed if I didn't have something to compare it to. The connection was a bit weird but everyone might not have the same experience. I wanted to plug up the 3.5 mm cord directly to the car like we did with the other one but doing so made a slight feedback sound. I tried using the FM connection and while it works.... it doesn't sound great. Think AM radio in your dad's beat up truck. Obviously the built in speaker, while workable, wasn't ideal either. Don't think it was meant to be though. It's just a built in speaker. It works like you'd expect. Connect it to your phone using blutooth then connect your phone to the car using blutooth like you would to make normal hands free calls. Somehow this just works. It's not ideal but for the price and the functionality, it'll due. I do miss the option to just plug up a usb A to usb C cable and hard wire in the phone. Bypasses a lot of problems.Pros: Wide screen, shorter so you can see over it, good dashcam, comes with a backup camera, wireless Andriod Auto and Apple Car Play, usb C power connector, CHEAP!Cons: Screen is a little washed out and not the most color accurate (not really a deal breaker), No extra usb port to connect to phone with wire instead of wireless, wonky sounding FM and 3.5 mm connections, finicky blutooth connection if more than one person uses it regularly (our older, more expensive one showed both phone names and let you pick), doesn't come with alternative method to connect to dash like a suction cup (again though, a lot of these cons are likely due to the really low price; nothing is free)

I really liked all the features and my friends started buying this camera too.But today I noticed that backup camera screws and metal started rusting in just four months. Still winter is not here in michigan. I am sure it will break soon in snow.It should be rust proof as other parts of car. I will not recommend this to buy anymore.

I bought this as backup camera for my older car.Installation was fairly easy taking my time to run the wire through as some install videos I’ve seen.Camera works great and feels much better quality than expected. It’s sturdy, has an excellent screen size and looks good on the dashboard.This camera has so many features that I’m still trying to learn but far it’s been very good.

Oh my God guys if you are looking for an CarPlay screen for your car that does not have CarPlay. This little screen is going to be your best friend. We installed it last night because we got it yesterday and my husband is obsessed with it. He loves it. It automatically connects to your phone when you turn on the car you don’t even have to go back and do all those things again. What was tricky is the FM transmitter that was a little bit tricky for us we did spend a couple times Trying to get it right but overall it is a great product the cameras outstanding it’s like the cameras came with the vehicle, but they didn’t and it was just. It’s an amazing product for the price. It’s a steal It really is a steal
