Excellent, Healthy, Safe Treats for Dog Training.
These PureBites treats are probably the best thing you can buy for your dog in terms of treats. My dog absolutely LOVES every PureBites product I have bought for him (we have now tried them all!). He has been enrolled in obedience training since he was 9 weeks old and I have been using these treats since he was about 4 months old; we are never going back to generic dog treats! Here are my top pros for this product:1. One Ingredient! You literally cannot do better than this, especially if your dog has any kind of food intolerance or allergies.2. The Ocean Whitefish are quite smelly, but I would consider this a plus since my dog is more enticed with smelly treats.3. They are excellent for obedience and agility training because they are easy to handle, being freeze-dried, and are also low in calories. Treat away!4. They have never caused my dog stomach upset or diarrhea, while other more generic treats have.5. They are sourced in the USA6. High protein content, low to zero carbs and no added sugarOverall, this brand is my absolute favorite to feed my dog. He is now getting into advanced obedience training and good treats are an absolute necessity for positive reinforcement. I would recommend these to anyone who loves their dog.

too expensive
But my cats like it. I can't respond to flavor and it does not have a scent

Perfect for grinding
Our beloved cat is no longer with us, but he absolutely loved these. We had a special coffee grinder just for these and we'd grind them up into almost a powder to sprinkle on his food. We called them fishy treats.

Excent product and made in USA
My wife and I recently decided to get rid of Chinese made food products for our pets. This was not as simple as we thought, but we found a great solution for everyday treats with these PureBites. One of our cats who rarely comes down stairs comes running as soon as I open the package (the smell is fairly strong but that seems to be a plus with the animals). Our dogs love em too. They are also low calorie, so even if you give several of them a day it wont effect their main diet. For anyone interested we switched to Orijen Grain-Free Adult Dry Dog Food, 29.7lb for the dogs and Orijen Regional Poultry and Fish Grain-Free Dry Cat & Kitten Food, 15lb for the cats. Going to USA/Canadian based products is more expensive, but worth it to us.

Horrid smell.
Omg, these smell TERRIBLE! I guess I should have expected it, but opening that bag almost makes you gag. Even worse, my dog doesn't like them. He can't have chicken so I thought I'd try these since his dog food is a white fish based food. Fail. He hates them. Thankfully, my other dog isn't picky and she eats them. The size of the pieces are all pretty good. They didnt seem to shred apart at all like the turkey ones do. Just wish my pup liked them.

Great quality, price sensitive
For the price I paid for these treats, it was an exceptional value. These literally are pure whitefish, just reduced to waterless cubes. Our dogs love them, but they of course smell horrible. When ordering, keep in mind the cost of fish in general and figure out a cost per ounce that you're happy with paying -- the MSRP this shows is ridiculous. But just basing my review on the quality and how accurate the description was, it's great. Only negative is that there ends up being a LOT of dust and broken pieces in the bag -- I'd say less than a quarter of each bag is actually the full-size cubes they were intended to be.

These are great treats for her
My dog has severe food allergies and she is on a fish only protein. These are great treats for her. They are nothing but pure fish. They really are stinky but she loves them and I really don't have much other options. For the most part I tear them into tiny pieces to use for her training treats. My first bag came with lots of crumbs in the bottom that were useless as treats, so I just sprinkle on her food occasionally. I will continue to buy these for her.

My dog goes crazy for these!
I have an Eskie with a sensitive stomach (and possibly allergies) who's on a strict diet. His protein is whitefish so these are one of the very few treats he can have. He absolutely loves them! He goes crazy for them!! The first time I bought them I got the cat ones by accident... the only difference is the size; the dog ones are much larger pieces. I actually keep a bag of each in the house all the time now and use the smaller (cat) ones for some things (like training) and the larger (dog) ones for treats or if I need to trade him for something he shouldn't have. I've purchased quite a few bags and always pleased.

Dog loves these
Wonderful treat for a dog that has limited ingredients. Mine loves them. I use the smaller bits as a good topper.

PureBites Whitefish NOT THE SAME RECIPE
I buy about 4 of these a month, I opened the last bag in the cupboard and the recipe is different. The fish has skin on it...which is fine for most dogs, but I buy these for my cats. The pieces were skinny and really hard, difficult to break, and they had skin. My cats prefer the dog version, beause the pieces are larger, but these are just awful. The skin is not edible for cats. It has to be peeled off or it gets caught in their teeth and worse, stuck in their throats. Yes, I know from experience, and its horrible. I won't buy these again.
