A friendly reminder for black case lovers
I originally chose the graphite case because I just wanted a black case. However, the texture and materials used were not satisfactory to me, or it was too close to ‘graphite’. Truth is, if you accidentally scratch it, it looks like you wrote on a blackboard with chalk. If your hands are wet, touching the case will also leave a mark. Although these marks can be easily wiped off with a tissue, they still lack a sense of refinement. In contrast, the other two color boxes have no such problem. Especially the Jade, which is spotless and very delicate, and will not leave any marks with a light touch. This is perfectly in line with the design of terra ! !

Super sleek and minimal design. I love it!
Has to be one of the cleanest and sleekest PC cases I’ve ever seen. It holds my 4070 FE and that’s so cool. I really like the minimalist design and how subtle everything is. It’s compact and very smooth. Airflow is alright and I do see temps rise but I usually just open a vent on the side when I game. Great value and easy to take apart

Beautiful and built extremely well.
If you're going to build ITX, there will be some pain involved with squeezing things into impossibly small spaces.Fractal have made a case that tries to keep that as easy as possible. Three of the sides come off (left, right, and top). That way you can finnagle your way through it. There is an included riser as well, no issues with that either. They provide a support article on their website telling you about compatibility between different size GPUs and different size CPUs (they share a space so you need to compromise). All in all, it's a great and beautiful case.

Premium Mini ITX Case
Great case with nice materials and thoughtful design. Looks like it belongs in anything from a living room to an office, which is a plus!

Exceptional build quality, but cramped compared to other SFF cases.
The short version: When everything fits, it's an A+ case. That said, double and triple check every single part in your build. Space is tight in all SFF cases, but it's even tighter here. The Fractal Terra is, in my opinion, one of the most attractive SFF cases on the market today but it has some very real drawbacks. The same could be said about many of Fractal's other products -- it's clear that they are an aesthetics first, flexibility second case manufacturer. That said, there is some (emphasis on some) flexibility on offer thanks to the sandwich-style design. This will give you a little bit of play, but the notches on either extreme leave you with either no options for a decent CPU cooler or no room for a performant graphics card.Buyers should also be aware that while SFX-L power supplies will fit, using one will leave you with no room for a bottom fan. Higher-wattage SFX PSUs are often times SFX-L -- I made the mistake of ordering one and simply couldn't make everything work without ditching the bottom fan entirely.Another pitfall is fan noise. This is well-documented elsewhere, but when the CPU fan is too close to the side panel, it acts as an amplifier. At 100% fan speed, it can sound like a jet at takeoff -- and without proper cable management and careful part selection, you will find the case runs hot and that your fan speed will be at 100% often. After reading the above, a four-star rating might sound generous. The truth is the build quality is undeniably superior to nearly every other case brand I've sampled in the past decade; my 10-year-old Phanteks Evolv X (an ATX case, not SFF) is the only one I've personally used that competes with the Fractal in build quality and design -- the latter comes down to personal taste, but the former does not.I can also say this little guy is durable -- I wouldn't recommend trying to replicate my results in a lab, LOL, but it survived the fall from my desktop to the floor (34 inches) without a dent or scratch. The high-quality coloring hasn't scratched either despite many accidental scrapes with my watchband and screwdrivers during assembly ... yes, I should be more careful, but it's nice to know that a product in this price range doesn't need to be handled with kid gloves.Another point in the Terra's favor is that its popularity among SFF enthusiasts means there are many aftermarket solutions to its shortcomings -- on display here in my build is a 3D-printed part that securely holds a Noctua 92mm fan just below the top panel. I've also installed a 3D-printed USB port addon, and many other parts can be printed, mixed and matched to suit your build. If you are eyeing the Terra for your first SFF build, do your research when coming up with your parts list -- a few extra dollars for proper-length cables and some quality zip ties will be needed for a clean build. For those attracted by the design, but second-guessing the purchase, I personally think the Fractal Era 2 offers a similar aesthetic but has a far more flexible layout.

Great ITX Case
There's no shortage of reviews of this case on YouTube and elsewhere. Noise and cooling can be a challenge for some configurations, but some consideration and planning can mitigate a lot of these concerns.Keeping things cool, quiet and relatively easy to build:CPU: Use CPUs with lower TDPs, set lower power limits, consider under-voltingGPU: 3 slot or less GPUs with double or triple fans cooling are generally better than blower style GPUs for this caseCooler/Fans: Wherever possible leaving an airgap between fans and the slats on the side of the case will help decrease fan noise. Using a cooler with a fan under the fin stack like the Noctua NH-L12S is a good option for cooling and noise, if it can clear your mobo and RAM and still accommodate your GPU on the other side.PSU: SFX-L will fit, but don't make cable management harder on yourself if you don't have to, use an SFX PSU if you can.7800X3D and ProArt GPUs find themselves into a lot of these cases for a reason. You can build a great gaming and productivity machine with this case, but if you're wanting to build a machine with a 14900k for working in blender, this is probably not the case for you.
