Got this thinking they would make good ice cream bowls and they do work great for that. The curve of them and the size really works well. They're pretty and a nice weight. Appreciate that they are dishwasher and microwave safe too.

This is my second set of these dishes and I just love them. Elegant, well made, and perfectly sized. This set of bowls arrives so beautifully boxed they would make a great gift. Dishwasher safe and perfect for a fancy meal or everyday use. 5 stars.

I refer to these as occasional bowls because I will only use them occasionally. They are more suited to hold small candies and nuts as opposed to holding soup or cereal. They are just not wide or deep enough. They are attractive and I will use them, just not for their intended purpose.

These bowls are really nice and are great quality. I've had no issues so far, and have used them on the daily basis. Easy to clean and got here safely packaged.

These bowls are quite lovely and have a very British/Downton Abbey feel to them. They're shallow and wide, measuring at 2 inches deep with a 6 inch diameter. They're not big enough for soup, but I can definitely see using them for cereal, small salad, or dessert. The colors are bright and shiny, and the china feels delicate, like the kind you would bring out for guests. I won't be using them every day for fear of chipping the edges. Though they came in a very sturdy box, and wrapped very well to prevent breakage, I won't be storing them in that same box because it's so large it takes up a lot of space in the kitchen. However, if I take out the packaging, the box would be very useful for letters, a hat, some small purses, etc.
