Like the easy functioning of this, no risk of sucking a mouth full of gas doing it the old fashioned way my daddy taught me, like that it doesn’t require batteries/ minimal maintenance. Unfortunately the set I got started leaking gas around the clamps on the first use. Will try some gasket seal or something.

I purchased this item, I won't call it a siphon, to drain a generator. I had a gas can below the generator. I squeezed and squeezed yet almost no gasoline ever came out. A waste of money.

This is a very hand y pump for draining small tanks or vessels. I need to drain small gas tanks for seasonal equipment and this does the job well. The bulb effectively primes the siphon and the tube is flexible enough to get down to the lowest corner of the tank to maximize drainage. This was my biggest problem with my previous solution - stiff tubing made it tough to get the last bit out. So that was my main reason for needing a new one and it worked out well. Definitely recommend. And for under $10, can't go wrong.I think anyone buying this would know, but it is a fairly small diameter tube. Does the job for small volumes, but probably would not use this for something larger than a couple gallons.

The Hand Syphon Pump is very well made. It is very small and portable. I think that everyone would benefit from having this in an emergency. Please remember that this is a small tube so water doesn't flow as fast as one would like.
