I found this fan to be exactly as described. In the box there was the fan, the speed-adjustable power switch, two protection grids (one for each side} four bolts and four nuts. It worked out of the box. It is very quiet at all speeds. The bolts are long enough so that, if you wish, you can use them to attach the unit to another device. I purchased this because one of the two internal fans, on one of my desktop computers, stopped work. The system was giving excess heat warnings. I placed this fan on the top (grid surface) of my computer. The heating problem was solved.This report is after two days of use. If the fan stops working properly, at some time in the future, I will update this review.I recommend this fan. It gave me back the use of an expensive computer.

I'm adding a vent system to my 3D printer enclosure and I wanted to be able to control the air flow for different situations. This was cheaper than buying a separate fan and speed controller plus the I may use the second set for inlet air to the printer electronics. I'm satisfied with the air flow and speed control of this fan and controller.

The way this sucks air with such power into the cabinet I built is incredible... With an all time low vibration level, and with its impressive larger than average size, alongside its outstanding lifespan of forever (it seems), I truly must say to you, BUY THIS!!!

Got this to cool down a annoyingly hot WiFi router and thanks to the included speed controller, I was able to slow down the fan so that it did what it had to do while not being so annoyingly loud as 110v fans tend to be! My only issue is that the included fan doesn't look like it's got top quality bearings, but since it's working at less than 50% speed, it might last longer than if it was going full bore. But I will have to wait and see how it will hold up since it will be running 24/7.

I bought a gaming computer but where I have it it was running a bit hot. I bought these (2) to help add to the air flow and it has helped amazingly well!!

Love these easy cloud fans. Adjustable speed and very quiet. They are built well and last a long time.

110 volt with speed control. Quite and plenty of cooling power.

Not only would fans not start, they started smoking shortly after attempting to turn them on. Total death trap. Also smelled extremely strong of chemicals upon opening. Will not be purchasing ever again and I advise you don’t either.
