Great product for my Keurig 2.0 machine ! The machine kept displaying " it's time to de-scale machine". I had no idea what that meant, so I looked into it. Has something to do with the water heating element and the minerals in tap water when you fill the machine up. The minerals get baked onto the heating element, and impairs the machine from working properly. So, I bought them. Comes in a package that is a 1 yr supply. Not expensive. A tablet you dump into the water tank once a month. I put one in. It was like Alka-Seltzer. Started bubbling the water in the tank. Let it dissolve. Then I ran the machine until the tank was empty. Filled the tank again, and ran it again. What a difference ! The junk that came out of those 2 runnings was unbelievable ! Bits of coffee and other funky looking stuff came out. All said and done, the water heats up much faster and my coffee doesn't taste burnt anymore. So, I guess it really needed a de-scaling. I will do it once a month for better tasting coffee.

Even though this isn't specifically marketed for espresso machines, more for single use and Keurig type machines, this works great for small espresso machines too. I use this on my breville barista Express espresso machine which had an issue with the clean/descale light being stuck on no matter how many times I've cleaned it. After running it once using two tablets, the light came off and the machine was much cleaner. These tablets are cost-effective and take up far less space than any of the liquids that I've used. Also if you use a vinegar type solution you have to rinse it far more times then you do with these tablets.

I tried hand cleaning the keurig(which is almost 10 years old) before and that would last for a little but even at that I wasn’t satisfied with the results I wanted to take everything apart and clean it, then I seen this and I figured I would give it one more shot before getting a new one. I had to do it 2 times but worked great and I’ll definitely keep using it

Update: the seller contacted me (totally did not have to) gave me some helpful suggestions, which I tried, and I’m convinced more than ever I just have a faulty light. I thought his comments and suggestions were kind and helpful, even offered a refund, which was super appreciated, but unnecessary. To me, when a business owner cares enough to go out of their way to be helpful, that speaks volumes! I will continue to try different things, but if the light stays on, I’ll just put some duct tape over it! Orig review: Arrived quickly, no issues with order— I’ve used 2 tablets- run it through just a few days apart, following instructions on the package- the descale light on my keurig never went off, coffee taste the same — not sure why. It’s a relatively new machine, less than two years old, and I typically only make 1cup a day, so it’s not like I’m drinking multiple cups a day. Yet the descale light stays lit. Even before I got the tablets, about every other month, I’d run vinegar thru just to keep stuff from building up. Perhaps it’s just a faulty light??

I seen this product on social media and decided to give it a try. I used this to clean my coffee maker and get all the gunk out. My coffee maker isn't that old, but was once used on a more regular basis. Lately, I've noticed it had a much more staler taste to my coffee and wasn't sure why it wasn't tasting as good. After I filled the reservoir with water, I dropped in a tablet and let it sizzle away. Almost like a baking soda reaction, it fizzed up in the water for a bit, then I ran the coffee cycle. It cleaned up the inside of the reservoir as well as the rest of the passage ways the water travels through before getting to the brew point. It drained a lot of crud out of it into the pot. The water came out light brown and you could see the amount of build up that was inside the reservoir disappear. I ran a couple of cycles of plain water through after and finished draining the system to make sure it was clean and ready to use. After brewing my first new pot of coffee, it was like a brand new machine. I used a special brand of coffee I received as a gift that was from the D.R. and could not understand before cleaning the machine why I didn't like the taste of it, but I also noticed it with other brands of coffee not having the right taste. After the cleaning, these coffees tasted so much better!This product is not a gimmick at all. It works well and it gets rid of that stale, moldy taste that could be left behind with the water remnants that typically form from steam and stay inside the machine, the excess coffee grounds that might splash around and clog the arteries of the coffee maker's water passages and tubing. This product also is really great for cleaning up the coffee pot as well. Let some water flow through, while it is hot, let one of the tablets go into the pot and let it fizz and sit for a few minutes, rinse out and dry and it makes the glass look so much cleaner, eliminating any residue you might miss with hand washing alone.My only wish is for this product to be a little more affordable, but considering the abilities it has, I am not mad about the price, and will more than likely order more in the future when needed if still available!

This is the first time I have used this brand. It works very well. It effectively removes built-up oils and residue from my machine, leaving it clean and running smoothly. I noticed a clear improvement in the taste of my coffee after the first use. The process is straightforward, and the instructions are easy to follow. I’ve always used vinegar to clean my keurig but decided to try this. I’ll never use vinegar again. This did such a great job! My keurig is sparkly clean. Thanks for a great product!
