Small but Mighty
I recently purchased this board to explore a new hobby and experiment with clustering, and so far, I’m really impressed. It arrived quickly, and right out of the box, it’s significantly more powerful than my Raspberry Pi. Performance is smooth, and it’s even more compact than I expected, making it a great fit for my setup. One thing to note is that it does run a little warm, which is to be expected given its performance. If you plan to use it as a NAS that you frequently access, I highly recommend ordering a fan or two to help with cooling. Mine arrived fully assembled, with the command module already attached to the board and a heatsink pre-installed on top of the CPU.The only real challenge I faced was the OS installation, though I suspect that was more of a personal learning curve. The available guides can be a bit convoluted at times, and while the wiki offers some helpful insights, troubleshooting can be difficult due to the lack of community support—there just aren’t many forums discussing this board yet. If you’re new to this, I highly recommend installing the OS via an SD card, as it’s the easiest method. If you choose the USB-C to eMMc route you’ll be dealing with a lot of “extra”.Build quality is solid, and all the ports—HDMI, USB-A, and USB-C—fit snugly. While this ensures a secure connection, it can feel a bit tight at times, making me slightly wary of applying too much force. That said, I see this more as a personal concern rather than a flaw in the design.Overall, this board has exceeded my expectations. Despite the learning curve, it’s a powerful and compact option, and I highly recommend it for those looking to experiment with clusters or build a high-performance NAS.

Good product as described
Nice package; Good and Easy choice fitting Linux PCIe endpoint framework study; 4x NVMe slot works stable at 1x lanes; 1st slot can configured as PCIe endpoints or PCIe RC while the remaining Slot acts as PCIe RC; Nice customer service; Fast shipping; Nothing to complain.

Great little NAS board
Fast and capable little board, very power efficient. Debian AARCH64 runs like a dream on this machine, and makes a super performant and reliable experience for every protocol I've used, from plain-old SCP to RSync, NFS, SMB, and AFP.This is also a great little development platform, with NVME you have plenty of high-speed flash for doing direct on-system software development without having to work about endurance of the on-board EMMC storage.I'm excited to make use of the CSI camera connector as well as the GPIO header for direct data capture.Seller has been very helpful with all the questions about the product I've had so far.

It requires some investigation but it works.
The product comes with a serial tty dongle and a set of wires to connect to the tty pins on the pcb, a set of screws and not much details.Their website explains quite a lot but does not inform you that you have to use the tty dongle and a telnet client to follow the device its boot process to check if it works. If you are used to using arduino or raspberry pi products, you can find similar info on their side and this was helpful for me to work out the seemingly not working hdmi outputs of this pcb + cpu board set, as the provided image does not seem to contain drivers to support the hdmi outputs out of the box!But for as far as you follow their manuals and download their images from their website, this thing works great. I have two 4-TB nvm ssd’s installed and combined as a mirror, with the plan to expand in the future. The speed combinations of 1 nvme 3.0 device and lower versions will not perform great when it comes up to internal data rate, however, the speeds of the older version nvme standards still outrun the 2,5gbit network speeds. The other thing is that i installed the nvme 4.0 versions as they were even cheaper than the nvme 3.0 editions for the same sizes (prizes which also depends on the cell structures on the storage blocks)The ram is really 32gb with a 4 core cpu and comes with a 256/240gb mmc storage drive. For that you can download several default linux images from the manufacturer side that supply the basic platform environment necessary for you to work with.If you need a cheap base module as a media streamer or backup device, this one is a good starter.

Impressive Single Board Computer!
I purchase the 16GB CM3588 - at the time it was the only model available. I would eventually like to upgrade to the 32GB model.I am using mine kit as a Network Attached Storage server running Open Media VaultAt the time of purchase there were no cases so I 3D printed one.I am really surprised by the small compact design - and processing power - this unit runs all my docker containers and storage server with ease.

Amazing Board
Just bought my 5th board! This product is so amazing as you can put so many different OS's on it. I've tried many and stuck with Ubuntu Noble. Runs 4 NVME's like butter. No complaints here. Also it comes with a powerful power supply unlike other sellers. This is needed to run the board and all 4 NVME's. 2.5g LAN makes this a triple threat! Seller is amazing. I did receive a carrier board with a bad NVME slot and seller sent a new one right away along with free gifts. An SD card and USB adapter for it. Possibilities are endless with this. I'm using it for crypto mining but you can honestly do almost anything on it that will run on linux.

TF Card slot broken right out of the box.
Complete and total waste of money, the TF card slot's cover was missing from the board, making it so I cannot actually insert a TF card. That wouldn't be such a massive a problem if YOU COULD SIMPLY INSTALL THE OS WITH A USB DRIVE! But since you HAVE to use the TF card slot to install the operating system, the entire board was completely un-usable, with such a tiny defect the entire machine was essentially bricked. Unbelievable. It's impossible to set this device up if you can't insert a TF / MicroSD card, and because the device was missing the cover for the TF slot it was impossible to actually set up or use the device at all. Extremely disappointed, wasted a LOT of time on this.
