Hands down I not this strictly for the Sega Sounds. Love this thing. Just can't go wrong. Its a tad bit high but its worth if you a sound design guy or just love Sega sounds.

The media could not be loaded. Love it. Sat down with it for a couple minutes and learned the ins and outs of it. Sequencing is pretty easy allowing you to either step sequence or live record. Has a huge variety of built in sounds as well as is a fully functional synthesizer. Additionally it functions as a portable midi controller (5pin) with the ability to daisy chain and sequence other equipment too, or can receive midi to control it.I use it in conjunction with my Smpltrek sampler (made by the same company), Polyend Tracker and Tracker Mini (especially the mini), Behringer Crave, Behringer TB-3, Roland Ax-Edge, and more. The built in speaker is pretty nice for when you're on the road or when using it with the aforementioned Polyend Tracker Mini and you don't want to use headphones since it supports line in. The unit can also sample from line in, but I haven't messed with the sampling capabilities yet.Only down side is that it doesn't come with a power adapater so I've been using strictly 6AA high capacity recharging batteries, but they last for 5-6 hours of continuous use so it isn't much of an issue.The unit has far exceeded my expectations.

This is a fantastic synthesizer, my first combined sequences synthesizer etc... I found it really easy to learn, and have had a great fun creating some nice patterns. So much so that I've got a bit addicted and looking at a few more Liven products.No problem with delivery, and it was international.Would recommend to anybody interested in FM style 90s Sega genesis music, it's worth the purchase.
