This product works
I connected both PSU data port and Corsair icue link hub to a internal USB2.0 on motherboard, it works perfectly fine. Great quality with nice braided cable.

Worked as advertised.
Worked as advertised, splitting my usb 2.0 header so that I could run LEDs for both sets of fans. DID NOT WORK between fan and AIO header because LED screens take up more bandwidth, so keep that in mind if that's what you're looking at here.
