I’m always a bit wary to try different gels, but these really help on long run days and they taste great. The citrus flavouring is nice and subtle and not too artificial.

A little on the thick side. Super sweet taste. Definitely work well though and provide sufficient energy for long runs. Recommend if you don’t mind a thicker gel.

I'm currently training for a half marathon and thought I'd try these (among others). They do the job. They taste good (not sickly) and give me energy and spark to keep going. Some gels are known to upset stomachs, so heading out for a long run to test these was a little daunting! I have to say that I bit the bullet and they were fine on several runs. I plan to keep using these beyond race day.

These energy gels are made from mainly maltodextrin, which is my memory serves is essentially a carb absorbed as fast as sugar/dextrose but isn't classed as a simple carb - but acts like one.I have used these both before and after a gym session, when I've felt I needed the lift and they work pretty well.Taste is ok, it's a tool and a means to and end rather than something to look forward to.Effective - happy to recommend.

At the time of reviewing these GEL50 Energy Gels they are priced at £29.99 for 12.Well i can definitely say these work and have helped me go for longer.I like the fact they are vegan and i must say these are kind to my stomach.I went for citrus flavour and it taste really nice better than i expected it too.I definitely will be using these from now on, they are much better than the ones i have previously had.I highly recommend!

Very handy to keep close when exercising either rapid endurance type activities or slow burners.They are a bit sweet for my liking and have quite a high glucose content so be wary if watching sugar intake if you're not maxing out efforts.A little pricey at nearly £5 each ! Dropping 2 stars as although it does the job there are far more budget friendly combos on the market.

I got these energy gels for using with long cycle rides and also sometimes I need to go on long travels, so quite often need a pick me up.I ordered the citrus flavour cones and I actually quite like the flavour, which is nicer than some others that I've tried in the past. I find that they don't upset my stomach and they do definitely provide me with a need boost. Recommended.

Easy to mix, pleasant taste. But 200 calories! At the current price of 29.99/12. Check the ingredients list -1. maltodextrin (an ultra-processed polysaccharide, a complex carbohydrate made of many sugars)
