This is my first time purchasing this rug pad. I was very impressed with the quality, its thick, great non slip and lays flat. It was a little larger than my intended rug, so I was dreading the cutting as it's never really smooth. This was an EASY cut- if I am honest this really impressed me. I think it's due to the backing- I cut it with a blade and it was a clean cut. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality padding for their rug.

We have a few runners. 2 go in our master bathroom. They are thin and don’t stay in place. I couldn’t vacuum them. I cut the sizes I needed of the padding and used double sided carpet tape to attach to runners. They are perfect, do not move and I can vacuum them. I used carpet tape because I move everything around and don’t want to keep resetting them. I can pick them up and put them back. Best project results.

This rug pad is definitely cushioned and it didn't move from my floor, but it didn't work for me. The rug I had on it, kept sliding off the top. Every time anyone walked over it, the rug shifted off of the pad. It was a little larger than the 2'x8' rug I had so I trimmed it down but that seems to be the norm for any rug pad I've ordered. Ended up buying something else.

I have been using those white rubber basket weave-like pads for my area rugs. They last about 3 weeks and then the rugs start slipping around. Daily run and skid kitty games are over 😹. This pad holds my loose weave Chindi rug on hardwood flooring very nicely! It was easy to trim nice and straight with scissors due to the design in the rubber backing. It is thicker and cushier (but not too much) than I expected. I will be ordering for other areas. Seems very durable and should last a good long time.

These are the cream of the crop, and I feel as if I've tried 'em all over the past 30 years--from deluxe to budget--to cushion and stabilize both pile and flatwoven handmade rugs. I have this company's rug pads in 3 sizes in my highest-traffic locations and recommend them without reservation for the sake of your prized rugs, your prized feet, and your prized downstairs neighbors.These pads do an extraordinarily good job of keeping rugs in place: I tried repeatedly to move them by stepping forcefully at a low angle and they didn't budge (a competitor's felt rug pad did shift slightly when I tried the same test: these are grippier). My rugs barely moved on top of these pads during intensive test-vacuuming with a bare, high-suction nozzle.I like that such thick felt rug pads are now being made from recycled material. This brand's felt is a charcoal gray, darker than competitors' (not that that matters particularly, although these will probably show soiling less). I did need to air these for a day or so outdoors to let the slight odor (from the backing, not the felt itself) dissipate, and then they were odor free. The folds are no problem: they flatten out quickly once the rugs are laid down and walked on.

Great for cushion and keeping your rug in place. I bought the extract size for the rug I ordered and it was several inches bigger on 2 sides. We had to cut it which did work.

Washable rugs are all the rage but they are so thin I didn’t think I would keep the one I ordered. But add this rug pad and now it feels soft and luxurious to walk on. Rug stays in place.

The fabric is great, very substantial and just what I was expecting but I ordered two 10x12 pads to fit my rugs and one is 1.5 inches too wide and the other is 3 inches too wide. I will have to cut them to fit.
