This makes for an excellent backup shaver. Especially for those times when your primary shaver either needs charging or dies halfway through a shave.This shaver works good enough, but I just don't like it for a primary shaver, it doesn't cut as well as my higher end shaver does. Also, this one is a bit more clunky to use.Overall, a really solid shaver for a backup, or if you want to do some traveling and don't want to lose your primary shaver.

This gives me a surprisingly close shave. I use my usual razor first and then use this one to get a much closer shave. The battery lasts for quite awhile and it charges relatively quickly. I can recommend it as I'm very happy with it.

Don’t buy it I tried to use it does not work as advertised

So i have never been one to use a shaver, but i really enjoy this one. Very easy t use and chargeable. I had a fear it would nick my skin but it never did. Clean u was easy popping the top off and using the brush to clean it out. And i decided to keep the box since it helps keep everything together. Great product!

I got this to take with me when traveling out of the country, as I can charge it from my computer or battery bank without needed to carry another wall adapter. It works well, although there is no pop up trimmer for sideburns - not the fault of the razor though, but my fault I didn't notice that when I ordered it. Otherwise a pretty good razor for travel.

This is a great shaver! It reminds me of my classic Andis Pro Foil in terms of performance but it is not as loud. Time will tell if that holds true. It's pretty powerful and the aesthetics of it are on point! The glide across my skin was good. It's lid snaps on well and only fits one way which gives the shaver a complete look and feel and discourages you from losing it. It's a bit boxier than other shavers I have which may be an issue ergonomically for some people but I don't mind it at all.I had the chance to compare this HYN-808 shaver to Hiena Pro's other shaver HYN-809 and I have to say that 809 is ultimately the better shaver since it has the option for a higher rpm and a digital dash to indicate charge. That said, this shaver looks better in my opinion as I perfer matte to glossy finishes. That matters if you're one of those barbers that likes his or her tools to match.

I have a fairly tough and fast-growing beard. Foil-type shavers have in the past seemed inadequate to deal with that challenge, especially if the whiskers get a little long. For me, rotary shavers (similar to the classic Norelco shavers) have worked the best, and I’ve been using them for years.However, I’ve not been totally satisfied with the closeness of the shave I get from rotary shavers. I can always feel some short stubble remaining. I ordered this particular shaver in the hopes that using it has a SECONDARY shaver will resolve this problem.It seems to do so. I indeed used it as a secondary shaver this morning and was delighted to see how much closer my shave ended up. I have no doubt that use of this product will become a routine action in the future.For now, I see no reason to rate this unit less than five stars. However, I’ve used the device only briefly. If I find negatives during continued use, I may update this review accordingly.
