Wow, that's a lot of bricks. Looks just like the big brand, grips about as well between bricks, just slightly different color and no logo. Makes a very good expansion pack.

1000 bricks for around $27 is not bad at all, one of the best deals I’ve seen - you really can’t beat it.The sizes it comes in are nice. LOCKING strength is good not Great” much easier for KID’s. The quality is good - they do have tubes on the bottom, and they are compatible with my LEGO and other brands. I know this set is not very colorful but when your building a base on the moon like I am it’s perfect. The white is a cool white other brand are warmer- there’s a difference. For ambitious builders (large scale) these bricks maybe a little soft after the second floor (16-18 bricks high) to put weight on BUT I have not built that high I just received these. I did build a small rock wall in the photo you will see black as the base next to the original rock wall. The group of towering white bricks is how much you get of each of the 4 colors.

This is a great set of bricks, especially for artsy kinds of builds that take advantage of the range of gray values. They work like everyone's favorite *cough cough* toy plastic building bricks, so you know what to expect.

This is a good quality set of standard-size building bricks in grayscale. Because they're standard-size, they're compatible with the major brand.I think the product description is very accurate in terms of what you get. This set contains bricks in the following sizes:2x61x42x32x21x21x1There are four total shades: black, white, dark gray, and light gray. The bricks come in a reusable and re-closeable sturdy cardboard box with a plastic handle (I included pictures of the box and the handle).I also included images of the bricks themselves: one image showing what was inside the box when I opened it, one image showing two sample sets of bags. As you can see, the different sizes are sorted into separate plastic bags, which is actually a very nice touch that I definitely appreciate. I was getting these mainly to supplement kits (and some for MOC builds), so it's very nice that these are pre-sorted-- makes it a lot easier to grab the exact brick you're looking for.This kit is an excellent thing to have if you build a lot of kits or if you build a lot of your own creations. If you're just bulking out a child's brick collection, then rest assured these are good quality, fit together well, and will work perfectly with other standard-size bricks. I've examined my full set, and I had no flawed bricks at all.I personally do a lot of cityscape builds-- kits and MOC-- and I'm always coming up short on bricks in these colors. For whatever reason, a lot of the mixed color building brick sets I have purchased came with very, very few black pieces, so this set really helps me out.I definitely recommend these. The only limit on them is your imagination!

Works pretty well, they have decent clutch power, and put of the 1,037 I received, just one deformed 2x3 black brick. Not a bad price for as many as I got, and I only counted cause I was sorting them I to bags to put away and noticed I had less 2x4 white bricks compared to the 2x4 black bricks by one, and was bored enough to count them out while separating

Lots of basic bricks. They didn't skimp on the larger 2x4 and 2x3 bricks. Only 4 colors so you get a decent quantity of each. My set was pretty evenly distributed between the colors, I made a box with each 2-stud thick wall a different color and ran out of bricks on the same final layer for each. The pictured box is all of the pieces from this set and no others except for the 10"x10" baseplate.
