Good quality
These are great quality, I use them when we travel so I don’t have to bring a bottle of oil. My dog doesn’t like pills but if I throw it in with her food or give it to her with peanut butter she eats it right up!

Don't Break the Capsule, Krill Oil Is Smelly LOL
I have two sweet pups and I try to take the care of them to the best of my ability.__My year and a half old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Walker Coonhound mix was scratching often. I checked her for fleas and found none. Often, I would check her and there was never a flea problem. Hmm__I looked at the ingredients of a new pet food I had switched to and A-ha, I believe the culprit was the inclusion of wheat in that new food. Oh, My! I feed my older pup (she is only a few months shy of her eleventh birthday), but I feed her a lamb and rice dog food. She has no issues with scratching, so it is my assumption that the food has caused the scratching issue__Since I started giving the krill oil three weeks ago, I am seeing WAY less scratching. I believe the addition of the krill oil is surely beneficial to most any dog__I cannot attest to the taste of course, but the smell is quite gross, but then again its fish oil, so it stands to reason it has a strong smell. The smell from opening the container lid is not in itself offensive, but once when I accidentally broke one of the capsules while stirring into the dog food, I can say the smell is strong__This supplement is rather expensive costing about fifty cents per gel capsule and my big boned pup is recommended to get six of these per day. That is expensive in my book, but I also know she seems to have benefited from the addition of the krill oil capsules__BOTTOM LINE: I wish I could afford to continue the krill oil regimen but this supplement is far more than I can afford. I have lessened the number of gel capsules to only two per day now. If giving the recommended number per day the bottle of sixty gel capsules would last a mere ten days, meaning it would cost just under one hundred dollars per month for this supplement alone. For that reason I cannot choose this as a purchase, but if it is within One's budget I feel it is a beneficial product

Good Supplement
This seems to be a high quality pet supplement. Krill oil is usually good for joint health and skin issues. No complaints.

Effective Krill Oil Supplement for Elderly Dogs and Coat Shine Plus Overall Health
I was happy to try this product because my veterinary cardiologist advised me to keep giving my elderly large breed dog fish oil supplements and I am familiar with and love this brand. Krill oil is one of the most potent and effective sources of Omega oils that is known to exist and contains unique antioxidants, so seeing one thing I take for myself in a supplement for my dog is exciting. We do a mixed fish oil currently but adding the health benefits of kril oil to my dog's diet is a no brainer and the product is easy to include in my dog's rotation. My dog suffered no ill effects while being given this supplement, such as diarrhea or fishy burps. He seemed to digest the product just fine. However, I dosed the supplement much less than the bottle suggested (which is 1 pill per 10lbs of dog). For my 100-110lb dog, that would come out to 10-11 pills total per day which would be excessive in my opinion (and use the whole bottle up in under a week). Fish oil is great when your dog is a bit constipated but too much would very easily cause oily excrement. My dog was given 2 krill oil pill supplements daily, one in the morning and one in the evening with his other medications and supplements. The value for money would be difficult to justify of this particular supplement if it only lasted my dog less than a week.My dog's coat is noticeably rather shiny, especially for a senior canine citizen. Other health benefits like allergy relief and itchiness weren't really problems before, but his coat shine definitely increased. The product was effective in beautifying my old doggo.I don't notice much of smell to the supplements and the pills are pretty small and do not have too much softness so they do not melt and stick together. The oil is well encapsulated. My dog had no problem swallowing them. Please consult a veterinarian before deciding how many supplement pills to administer to your dog. If you wish to pierce the pills and squeeze the contents onto food, my dog seemingly also enjoyed that method of administration and taste. Overall, this is a great product from an excellent brand that I'm happy to give my 14 year old canine best friend.

Good quality but expensive
I think this is a great product as far as quality. I just somehow didn't see the dosing when I ordered it. A $2.40 dose for my dog is too much. At 1/5th the recommended dose, we haven't seen any significant change but that isn't the product's fault. The company and quality is great. Just not something I can use regularly.
