Good quality transfer gel
This transfer gel gives nice, dark transfers. It works very similarly to my usual transfer gel.You squirt a little gel onto your gloved hand and spread it evenly across a prepared skin. I did this first using a circular motion to the edge and then wiping my gel gloved hand across the whole sheet in a uniform direction. This gel comes out in a thickness similar to the other transfer gels I have used but it becomes liquid almost immediately and goes across the practice skin more like an oil. I made two test skins and the first one was a little too wet. The transfer ink smeared a bit but not so badly that the stencil became unusable. The second skin I used less transfer gel and it came out almost perfect. There was a little bit of bleeding around the edges of my stencil so the next time I use this gel I will just use the tiniest bit. A little goes a very long way with this stuff.Once you have your gel spread, you place your transfer stencil, pat it down all over, and let it sit for 3 to 5 seconds. I let it sit for closer to a minute. Then you can remove your stencil paper and the instructions say that the skin will be ready to tattoo in 8 - 10 mins. I am preparing mine for use later in the week. With transfers it can be helpful to let the skins set for 24 hours or more to make sure that stencil is really baked into place and less likely to smudge.I'm impressed with how well this transfer gel works with just the smallest bit. I like that it turns to an oily liquid when I spread it across the skin as that seems to me to make it easier to get a really even layer of gel. The stencils come out dark. They're sharp and crisp where I got the amount of gel correct. It takes a little playing around to get used to each new transfer gel. Once you get it right, it works great.

WORKS but will take me time 2 get used 2!
This tattoo transfer gel from Phomemo works, but I definitely need more practice using it! I appreciated the bottle arriving in a sealed box putting my mind at ease knowing it remained sterile during transport. This is a good size bottle w/a shelf life of 3 years (exp. date is on bottom of bottle-see pic). I’ll be able to use it for numerous stencil applications making it an excellent value at its current price of $13.49 (at time of this review).I’m a newbie to tattooing & still working on perfecting this craft. I ordered this to make it easier for me to transfer my stencils (printed & hand drawn) for placement on both fake skin & natural skin. The gel is a thicker consistency (reminds me of hand lotion) making it easy to apply. I like that it has no odor & I didn’t suffer any form of adverse reaction using on my super sensitive skin.I ran into issues w/my stencil smearing & blurring (plz see cat pic) once applied to natural skin. I believe this is USER ERROR & not the actual product however, had the instructions been more detailed on its bottle/box like sellers pg. I think I would’ve had better results my 1st go around. I think my problems stemmed from applying to much gel (it takes the tiniest amount bcuz it stretches), applying my stencil when it was to wet (you want damp NOT wet), & cutting my stencil to small which may have caused it to slip during placement. What ended up working better for me is after I applied the gel, I blotted it slightly w/a pc. of paper towel, waiting 3-5 sec’s before adhering stencil, then gently patted down on stencil b4 removing from skin (plz see tribal pic). Although not perfect, the tribal came out more clean & crisp VS. the attempt I made w/the cat stencil. In closing, the gel definitely works as described! It’s gonna take me more time w/practicing in order to achieve better results involving my stencils. It’s user friendly for both professionals & beginners w/an affordable price tag!

Works good
This works pretty well. I use a relatively small amount and let it dry, and then add some more so it's wet and almost tacky like (according to internet recommendations). I haven't had issues of the stencils transferring, except for when I personally miss putting stencil gel where it needs to be. Overall, it works well.

As good as Stencil Stuff
I like this Phomemo stencil gel. I think it works just as well as Stencil Stuff. A little bit will do you, and it holds the carbon print just like it should. No regrets.

works great and lasts a long time
this works equally well on both fake skin and real skin. the stencil transfer comes out clean and clear. i would recommend using a small amount and letting it almost dry first.the bottle is generously sized and should last for a few months.

Transfers cleanly, holds lines well
Seems to work equally as well as stencil stuff, maybe a little more prone to smearing on fine lines but holds normal lines perfectly. Nice to have a solid backup option should I not be able to get my usual goop in a quick turnaround.

Transfer Gel
This is a great transfer gel. It works well and as long as you have a steady hand the lines come out crisp.
