Meh
6 yr old grandsons and I play go fish all the time and they love dinosaurs but we can’t figure this game out . Too many variables . More complex than it needs to be

Far too advanced for a 6 year old, just learning to read!
the concept is great but this was rated for ages 6+. My grandson turned 6 last November but is still in kindergarten, and there is no way he can read these! We still played with old-fashioned "go fish" rules, but had to show the card we were asking about.

Go Fish with a “bite” of knowledge!
The Purple Cow Go Fish (dinosaur edition) is a knowledge-boosting card game. The concept is similar to Go Fish, but here, you will search for relatives from ten different dinosaur families. The dinosaur families include Ceratopsians, Pachycephalosaurids, Ankylosauria, Theropods, Sauropods, Stegosauridae, Ornithopods, flying dinosaurs, prehistoric amphibians, and prehistoric swimmers. I am a dinosaur enthusiast but no paleontologist, so hopefully, these facts are relatively correct! Each card includes simplified facts about your dinosaur, the full name, and an easier-to-pronounce nickname for the relatives you are searching for. This game is better suited for the 8-11 range, younger with help, and older with siblings or in a classroom setting. The current price point is a bit high for what it is - unfortunately, that is inflation. If this is on sale, it would make a good stocking stuff or Easter basket filler.

weird rules, but fun
Not your normal "go fish". It's got weird rules that you have to call out the type of dino first, then the actual dino... eventually just started playing with the numbers like regular "go fish"

Cute game
This is a cute game, but not accurate. My dinosaur obsessed son has noted that some of the dinosaur names are incorrect. It still works as a go fish game though despite the inaccuracies.
