Bobby Flay: Chapter One: Iconic Recipes and Inspirations from a Groundbreaking American Chef: A Cookbook

I couldn’t wait for this to come out! I loved Gato in NYC when I lived there. This is a gorgeous cookbook and it’s huge!!!! I had to take a few breaks from reading since there are so many recipes in there, from seafood, to meats, to veggies plus 1 dessert. The photos are stunning! I can’t wait to start cooking — most recipes look doable to the home chef with some experience. If a beginner, they may be daunting. I can’t wait to try out the veggie paella because I loved that dish and my husband is a vegetarian! Thank you, Bobby! Looking forward to chapter 2 after I study from this one.

What an amazing cookbook! Bravo to Bobby Flay - it's heavy, it's a piece & the pictures are wonderful!!! Such a great balance of easy recipes and fancy recipes. Would make an amazing gift!!!!

I'm a HUGE Bobby Flay fan and have always loved everything he makes, and for years, I've been saying I can't wait to go eat at one of restaurants! Well now, I can cook JUST like him! This cook book is absolutely STUNNING, picture perfect masterpiece!! I can't wait to try ALL of his recipes, yes I said ALL!!! Thanks Bobby!!

This book is everything I hoped it would be! I’m looking forward to gifting it to several family members this Christmas.

This book is massive! And it’s beautiful. The photography is stunning. That being said, the exterior of the book is black and so were my hands after reading through it. That was a first. The recipes inside (over 300) were not for the average home cook. The ingredients lists are far too long and impractical. A quarter cup of caper juice, half a crazy never heard of pepper and it goes on and on. What am I supposed to do with the half and quarters left of these things? And arctic chat ceviche!? Plus most recipes have a sauce and a spread. Ugh. Love Bobby but this is going back.

This book is so lovely and I won't take off 2 stars for how Amazon beat it to death in transit (Amazon, do better). I'm disappointed in that. But the book?? Outstanding!
