Works very well
I have to admit I was a little skeptical that this would work as well as it does. My husband changed the rotors on my son's car and he was surprised how easily the impact driver made the job. Definitely worth it. And it works with his makita batteries.

Exceptional power and value, great addition to your toolbox if you have Makita power
The media could not be loaded. I needed to replace the axle nuts from my 1991 Acura NSX. My medium duty pneumatic impact gun wasn't doing the trick. I also tried a 30" breaker bar with no luck. I use all Makita tools in my workshop, so I ordered this 3/4 cordless impact wrench with hopes it would break the nuts loose.The gun arrived this morning in plain packaging. Nothing fancy, basic instructions. First impressions: even without the battery, this gun is heavy, in a good way. You can tell there's a beefy motor inside this unit, and the end bell seems to be metal, which is a plus. Overall the build quality feels very nice, and the color matches the rest of my Makita tools, which is a plus.I connected a fully charged 18v 5Ah Makita battery and gave it a go. Even without the brake calipers installed, this gun removed both rear nuts in under 2 seconds -- very impressive!I definitely feel this impact gun was a great purchase, and would recommend this to anyone who is already using Makita power in their shop.

Better than expected.
My 450lb air impact wrench died when I tried to loosen the nut on my weight distribution hitch. I broke my 1/2 inch breaker bar trying to loosen the same nut. Since I needed a new impact wrench anyways, I decided to try this out. Ordered stronger than I needed because, well you know Amazon products are often over stated. Put it on the nut with a 3/4" socket. Within a couple seconds the nut was turning and coming off. Never thought a battery powered impact could be this strong. Much better than expected.

Works great!! Powerful.
Was able to loosen bolt (with ease) that I worked on for several hours. You will need 3/4” sockets or a 3/4” to 1/2” adapter to use 1/2” sockets.
