Ringside Aerobic Weighted Exercise Gloves (Pair)

It is a mystery to me how these were designed, coming as they obviously do from someone entirely unfamiliar with the human hand. The two finger loops are okay, and there endeth the good part.The thumb hole is strangely located -- not where human thumbs are -- and too small to be comfortable, such that the thumb goes to sleep and actually gets cold after a little while. The weighted portion is positioned to droop over the wrist. The Velcro closure is so poorly designed that if it is tightened properly, it's loop-against-loop; if tightened so that hook and loop match up, your wrist would need to be about three inches in diameter.When worn, you will see huge gaps between the material and the hand, as if they were designed for the feet of some creature with which we are not familiar.I wear men's XL gloves, and they're far too big for me.And I suspect that for as long as I live I shall never have the answer to the question they inspire: What the hell were they thinking?

These gloves are WAY too big for a normal hand! I have pretty normal to large hands and normal wrists, and I could not even secure them because I had to wrap the band around so tightly that there was no velcro left. I even had my Dad (a very large man with big mitts!) try them on, and although they did secure on him, it was nowhere near the way they should. I think these are made for a giant... wouldn't recommend unless your wrists are the size of tree trunks.That said, I wish I could secure them and use them because they were exactly what I was looking for and appeared to be otherwise well-made...

Women need 2lb weights too. These were labeled as "men's" and the 1 lb as "women's". I need 2 lbs so I went ahead and ordered as they are velcro and adjustable. I have an average size hand and wrist and these are huge around my wrist. I tighten them as far as they will go plus some and there is still a huge, like 1 inch, gap between my wrist and these gloves. The gloves can be distracting while working out because they slide around. The only pro to this, if you can call it that, is with that large gap the glove isn't constantly hitting the button on the side of my Apple Watch during exercise. I have another pair of 2 lb gloves that fit perfectly (they were out of stock) but wanted a second pair because I left my "good" ones at our vacation home and didn't want to carry them back and forth. I would not buy these again and wish I would've just waited until the others came back in stock.

Okay so I just bought these 3 days ago and I can honestly say that I love them.I practice a mixed variety of techniques and need to get in shape.Comfort: This product is great for shadowboxing and I have not used them with boxing gloves over them yet.Stretch: I give them a 4 star review due to the durability of elasticity, around the thumb is getting extremely worn out and I believe its due to the amount of movement from the weight during exercises.Also, I am 160 at 5'8" and the wrist strap does not tighten enough due to the design seeming to be for a larger wrist. This may be why the gloves move so much and the thumb is work out.A solution, I will add some duct tape to preserve where its started to break and see how it holds.

The Glove is pretty big for me! I tried to have the Velcro wrapped around my wrist but the edges of the Velcro are really sharp and they irritate my wrists! After couple of the swing movement the Velcro lining slightly ripped the glove... I think spending 5 dollars more may give you a better set of gloves.

Not sure if the problem is in the design, in the sewing or both. First, the weights sit low (towards the wrist) and the Velcro fastener did not come close to tightening around the wrist. Considering I am physically fit, just under 6 ft and weigh 180 lbs, suggests these are designed for someone with extremely large hands and inhumanly thick wrists. I added an additional strip of Velcro beneath the logo which allows the wrist to be properly cinched.

They are just as advertised but there are some flaws. 1 is that the soft Velcro strip isn't very long so they fit very loose unless you strap the hard Velcro to the glove itself which is actually doable but impractical. 2nd is durability, or, lack thereof. I use these solely for air boxing/ Shadow boxing to improve the force of my punches and one night after about an hour or so I looked down and saw that the Velcro strip had come unthreaded from the left glove. They really are fairly heavy and do the job but build quality could use some improvement.

The gloves are WAY big and have a velcro strap that is about 6 or 7 inches long, but there is only about 1 inch of receiving velcro for it to attach to. Bottom line: the gloves won't stay on and the velcro strap will have to be cut down or it will just be in the way. I would return it but I was out of town when it arrived and just opened the package a few days past the 30 day return period. I can't recommend these gloves. Very poorly designed.

The straps are so big you'd need to have wrists like a silverback gorilla to use them. I gotta use tape to keep them on. Terrible design.

There is no stitching around the thumb part of the glove. The fabric will then stretch and rip at that point upon inserting hand. Returned.

Weight is more like an unstable bubble of sand on top of the glove, this is not a good product, even for what it is, price seems good bit it ain't

Not the best ones out there. They rip and become very loose and hang off hands after many uses. They actually hurt my wrists after that due to no support. Had to stop using them.
