Relatively low retail price for what you get. The box is small, but it's all crammed in there. Brush and comb work well. Balm and oil are fairly standard, and thankfully don't have a strong scent, just a mild pleasant scent. My one complaint is the scissors can't get close enough to the skin, so they're good for shaping the beard, but not trimming the edge lines.

The products in this set are packaged nicely to make a very attractive, impressive gift presentation. They are boxed, and inside they include a bag to store everything in. It's all good quality stuff for combing and grooming a beard. The little scissors are nice and sharp. The oil is unscented, which seems a rare thing, but my husband isn't very fond of scented products, so that's great. The set includes a comb and brush which are good sizes for beards. The comb works great on hair too. I have 'borrowed' it a few times to help me untangle my long hair when wet. I love it for that.I think it's a good value in a combined gift of good quality items.

This was selected for myself, but would certainly recommend it as a gift as well.Oil and Balm.These are described as comparable products, with the balm helping to make the hair more full and shapeable, which checks out. I honestly can't tell if you are supposed to just use one or the other, as opposed to both at once. And if both, which first? Not clear in the instructions, but no harm came from applying the oil, followed by the balm. As advertised, hair is less coarse, easier to shape, and untagled.Neither product has a scent, which I think is great, as those can be hit or miss. And neither is greasyScissorsCompact, sharp enough, and easy to clean.CombThis thing is great. Beautiful carved wood with a nice finish and large teeth glides through the beard better than others I've tried, even prior to treating with the oil or balm. Also useful as a guide for trimming.BrushThe boarshair brush feels really good to use, smoothing the beard, catching lint or crumbs(!), And even massaging and exfoliating the skin beneath the beard.The above is all packaged with a burlap carrying pouch for travel, which fits In my toiletries bag, no problem..

I freaking love this set. I got it for my husband for a fathers day gift because he is always using my special conditioner on his beard and he is always using and losing my daughters comb set to brush his beard so this kit was literally perfect. It came way faster than expected, less than a four day wait. The packaging was nice and very masculine. The scissors, and brushes are both fine, I don't have a beard but I'm sure these be better than the hello kitty set he has been using. The real stars obviously are the oils and balm, they smell nice and I'm excited to see how nice they will make my husbands beard look.I'm shocked that for how much I paid that this set is as nice as it is, I really wasn't expecting to get such quality stuff. I will buy another kit for my brothers when their birthdays roll around.

Great stuff smells amazing and really feels great. Really loved the beard soap. Worked great. Left the beard super soft and not all dry. Oils have a nice smell and work well.

I'm not going to lie, some of the bad reviews kind of scared me but I'm totally happy that I took a chance on this. My husband's fur no longer scratches my face with it's harshness. He was worried that the oil would break him out but so far has had no issues. Everything seems to be good quality for the price.

Not only did I receive the kit 4 days before the expected arrival, but it was packaged very nicely, and even had an insert that asked me to check and verify that everything in it was of 100% satisfaction to me. It said that if it wasn't.. let them know and they would make good on whatever the problem seemed to be. That's before I even USED the product. In addition to this, the products themselves are made obviously made with care, and made of quality materials. The balm alone is rated up there amongst the highest quality of any balms I've used in the past. I HIGHLY recommend this Kit if you are looking for a decently priced, high quality option.
