Scottish Onion Burger Complete Mix - 500g (5kg Batch)

Well I bought this as well as some other gear to improve my BBQ prowess which was,turn`em and burn`em,and I made up a batch of the burgers,Lamb and Beef,no neddy in my burgers,the pack of Mix goes a long way so be careful on how much you put in the Mince,the pack of mix does 10 Kg of burgers so if like me you used the whole pack make sure you have freezer space for the surplus,all I did was make the full amount then made as many burgers as needed the surplus meat and mix I froze down in blocks for a later time.It really does add a nice flavor to the burgers and makes them a hit when they are served up to hungry folk,I use big Buns and red onion rings,lettuce and tomato cheese optional when I do them as I make the burgers big in size,normal thickness,if you make them thick keep turning them and cut one to check they are cooked through,the mix is not to powerful and gives that really good onion flavor to make your home burger that much better,you can experiment with the amount you use to get the best balance for the mix and meat but overall this is a good way to do it as you get all the praise for real tasty burgers,make sure you hide the packet though.An easy to use mix that gives great taste to your BBQ efforts,I would recommend this mix to take your burgers to a higher level.

This is my second purchase of Scottish Onion Burger Mix and with a little practise I managed to produce perfect burgers in taste and texture! Everyone who has tried them, loved them, especially the grandchildren! They decided never to eat MacDonald's again!After the first trial, I have decided that with a little extra mixture (about 10 %), I got a tastier and softer burger (increase the water content by the same amount) Now, I buy the leanest stake mince, or mince my own, add the Burger Mix, press them with the burger press and HEY PRESTO, the professional looking, tasty with great texture, burger I can be proud of! We now eat less fillet steak and more burgers with the same satisfaction and the assurance of lean and tasty beef product with definitely NO horse product!

It's the best tasting burger i have ever had . AND,they are home made !I don't feel the need to search for the perfect burger mix,as i have found it. I will try other seasonings,but this one will be the resident one in my pantry. If you want a healthy take -away,i would recommend you buy this and make your own burgers. They will be much better than the local burger places ! I make quarter pounders,and they are a fraction of the price too.

I have bought several seasonings from Tongmaster in the past and as usual I wasn't disapointed. I used 30grm of seasoning to a pond of mince with a little rusk and water and got very tasty burgers.I buy all my sausage seasonings from them and curing salt. I make my own sausage and bacon and know exactly what is in them. No grisle or rubish.

Not particularly bad but not amazing adds flavour to a plain burger but some of the other seasonings from tongmaster are just more interesting

I always used to make my own burgers and just by luck I found this company, can't wait to get busy making my own again bye bye Big Mac & BK...
