AtomicAquatics SubFrame Scuba Diving Mask wtih Ultra Clear Lenses

I've been using this mask for over a year now and it is by far the best I've ever used. I've bought other masks from other very popular dive companies over the years and nothing comes close to this one. I realize every face is different so every mask fits every person differently, but this is the one for me. Excellent construction and all around top notch mask. I've since bought other diving products from Atomic and have been very impressed with this company.

I got this mask to replace my cressi mask that was giving me headaches. This mask fits perfectly, almost never leaks, and has at least 30% better field of view than my last mask.One note: scrub the inside of the lenses with toothpaste several times. Do it once, rinse, do it again, rinse, do it again. You might even have to do it again after that. There were a few spots that fogged up during our initial dives with it but that went away after several scrubs with toothpaste and now never fogs. Don’t use a lighter.

I’ve owned many snorkel masks in the past, but this one is worth the money.

We have a few of these and over the past 6-7 years they’ve declined in quality significantly. They also now come in a giant plastic bin more than twice their size instead of the prior form fitting case that held them perfectly.

The reason for my low rating is that i purchased the regular size assuming it will fit. I am 5.9 in height and 185 pounds in weight and with a fairly large face. The regular size was simply huge on my face. I will try the medium size, but overall size description of the product gives little to no information required for making an informed decision. Divers definitely argue that one should not buy a mask without trying it. But for many like myself the market we are in is very poor in scuba gear hence our reliance on internet purchases. Apart from the size issue, the quality of the mask is simply great.

Excellent mask!! Extremely comfortable and clear!! Use the anti-fog spray and the mask is PERFECT! Doesn’t pull at my hair either!

Bought this for a dive trip to Turks and Caicos to replace a lost mask. Initially had problems with fogging as I toothpasted upon arrival and used defogger several times but had to keep clearing my mask underwater due to fogging. Really was frustrating me but then remembered the age old best defogger-SPIT-and no more problems. Fit for me is very good with excellent optics. Excellent mask. BTW-highly recommend T&C for diving. Great reefs, corral, walls, viz, marine life (lots of sharks).

I was very excited to order the Atomic Aquatics Subframe blue/black mask. But I was quickly disappointed to find upon tightening, the mask presses on the forehead (spot right above the nose on the forehead) to the point that it hurts. I am currently using an Aqua Lung mask and upon pressing the mask at the spot where the Atomic Subframe hurts, the Aqua Lung did not hurt. I surmised that my face contour along the forehead is not suited to this Atomic Subframe mask. This is a gorgeous mask; I am sad I had to return it. This review is just to let people know this is an excellent mask as long as it fits and feels perfect on you.I gave it 3 stars because the interior of the mask appears to have been designed in a poor way that it does not fit everyone and every face. Keeping the exterior look the same, Atomic Aquatics must re-design the interior of this mask to ensure it fits everyone and every face.

I have a small head and narrow face with prominent cheekbones. This mask fits great! No leaks! Excellent clarity of vision. I used toothpaste on it twice and anti fog prior to use. No issues with fogging.
