So far so good
I've only used it one time to bag about 20lbs of raw chicken. The unit performed much better than my last one (not food saver). It removes the air quickly and seals perfectly.

I enjoy the moisture sensor feature - but they do have one design flaw
This is the 3rd Foodsaver I have purchased in 20 years. They last a long time. This one is has a moisture sensor to switch it automatically from vaccum to seal, when it detects liquid passing the through. I had to give it a 4 star instead of 5, because the little green stem on the accessory vacuum tube broke off after a couple of months. We couldn't seal the jars or use the marinade, or vacuum the foodsaver zip bags, without that. It wasn't a replaceable part so we had to send the whole appliance back to the factory for replacement. The plus side was they paid for the shipping and they were suppose to send out a new replacement on receipt. However, I had to call them a week after the tracking was showing it as delivered to them, and they did send one out the next day, but we were without the machine (which we use 3-4 times a day) for about 3 weeks.

Game changer!
Very pleased with the suction of this vacuum sealer.I've tried many others but they let me down especially when sealing meat. This food saver sealability works wonderful and I highly recommend. I've sealed many different food items and it lives up to the standard I would want in a sealer. The size is a bit big but it's worth the counter space. It's durable and even keeps your frozen items fresh!
