So Far So Good
It is a doorbell transformer. Not much to say. It puts out the correct voltage, does not get hot and powers the doorbell. A good buy

Good product works great to power 2 Rings
I used this to replace the power supply when I removed an M&S Intercom (circa 1993). It will not fit in a single gang standard junction box...maybe if you get a deep one it would. I drilled a whole to fit the line voltage wires on the inside of the junction box and mounted the transformer on top of that (which sits inside the wall above an in-wall ironing board cabinet). It works great. Contrary to what I heard, in order to power my Ring door bell (and I have 2 attached), the wires must be on the correct poles. You won’t damage anything if you don’t but the Ring doorbells will not charge if you don’t have the green (R) and White (L) if I remember correctly. Also you’ll know because you won’t have a white LED ‘halo’ around the doorbell button. Swap the wire pair around and it should fire up!

Meets RING Doorbell Pro Specs...
Do yourself a favor and install a transformer that meets RING's specs. I went to Lowe's and bought a transformer from the sales guy that was 16V/10VA. I started reading on the web and noticed that people could still have problems with their PRO Doorbell not getting enough current when either the mechanical doorbell chime and Ring video were activated at the same time OR when the Ring Pro was in 'night' mode and requires more current to run the system. 'Night' mode occurs when not enough ambient light is present to video in color. I looked here and found a transformer that met Ring's specs; 16V/30VA. I installed the unit and my Ring Doorbell Pro now holds at 4,060mV, which is now within the normal range for the unit's video to work properly when the mechanical chime is activated at the same time as video is being captured. Your Pro Doorbell is likely to turn off if it goes beneath 3,900mV. I'll update for reliability if I have problems. I hope this helps.

Works Great and Great Price
Purchased for a Ring Pro and it works flawlessly. Medium - easy to install on my main electric box. Purchased the Newhouse CHM3D Chime on Amazon and it works well with the transformer too. So far, so good. Will update if there is a issue.

Transformer dies after 15 minutes connected to Zmodo Smart Greet Door Bell
I just received a replacement Transformer which died after 15 minutes connected to Zmodo Smart Greet Door Bell. The replacement also died after 15 minutes. I had the Zmodo door bell working with the second transformer at my front door. For testing I connected the transformer 110 wires to a standard plug wire and plugged it into an extension cord. I've provided a picture of the transformer with the 110 plug wire and the DC wires going to the Zmodo door bell. I also tested the DC wires with a regular door bell and it worked fine. So wi'fi and everything looked to be working fine. Then I pressed the Zmodo door bell button. It rang and sent a notification to my Cell phone as it is supposed to. Then the transformer died. It was very hot same as the first transformer was. What am I doing wrong???
