Love it!!! Have done several oven roasts now and trust it implicitly to turn out consistently perfect roasts. Chicken, lamb, even trusted it with a prime rib worth £70!! All been brilliant. Also very glad I got the plus; the desig of our oven meant that I’d have to leave a phone stuck to the front!! But with MEATER repeater block can just magnetically clip it to the oven frame and it’s got a perfect signal!! So good to be able to retire to the garden and still watch the roast - or send a web link to my mum who is fascinated following it 😂

Just received it and tried one BBQ so far. Works just fine, has some nice features, easily linked to Iphone app, and monitors from about 30-50m away. Lost signal a couple times, but expected. follow instructions and bury meat probe as stated to protect electronics. Will likely buy another as a gift.

I've had these for 3 months now, when they work they are great but around 50% of the time the probes lose connection with the app. I get the message to move the phone and chargers closer to the oven but even when I leave the chargers and phone next to the oven I still lose connection on either one or both of the probes. At over £200 this is completely unacceptable, I feel I have wasted my money.

Probe brilliant , when used cooks meat to perfection, the down side is the time needed is less than all cook books guide time for meat, the probe takes a short time to calculate the cooking time and if that time is less than the time to roast the rest of the meal ie potatoes, then you end up with dried meat.As simple alterations to the app with a rough time indicator for a piece of meat could oking time would be good then at least you would be near with your other food

Fantastic on the darker meats like lamb and beef but I am still to perfect a whole chicken. Have experimented on several settings and also inserted the device in different locations but still struggling to get the chicken cook to perfection!!
