Epson Workforce ES-60W Wireless Portable Sheet-fed Document Scanner for PC and Mac 10.7" x 1.9" x 1.4"

Got this to replace a corded Epson portable scanner. Set up was super easy. Plug into computer with usb, a couple clicks the epson website for current drivers and its up and running. The settings are pretty straightforward, was able to turn off the sequential numbers with no problems. When powering on the computer pairs with it quickly and the scans are nice and crisp, way better than any phone app that tries to do scans by snapping a pic.

Perfect for travel and on the go. Quality is outstanding!

My wife is retiring from the Navy after 20 years, and she asked me to scan her medical records into files that can be sent to the VA. I have a scanner built into our printer at home, but if I had to toss a guess out, I would say each page on that thing would be about 20-25 seconds to scan. She has 5 volumes of medical records... That's not happening. I'd considered contracting out this work as there are companies that will take the medical records, scan and index them, but I decided this scanner should work and provided at least some of the features the contract company was offering.The software is pretty easy to set up, and it's not difficult at all to get it connected to a wireless network. I admittedly don't know if it would work without being connected to my PC, but as I was doing A LOT of scanning I kept it hooked up to keep the battery charged. So far, I've scanned about 3/5 of her records, which took me about 4 hours.I'm very happy with the quality of the scans, and the software which allows saving the pages as searchable PDF files. I think my only gripe would be that once you save all the files, the page with all the scans closes. I'm not sure if those scans are saved on my PC anywhere, and haven't really had the time to dig into it (for instance, if I wanted to go back and save parts of volumes without having to rescan the pages). It's something I will look into.I also scanned a few long receipts, as that's a future use I wanted the scanner for, and it worked well enough. It's a little difficult to keep them feeding straight if they're REALLY long, but it's not a deal breaker.Pros: Ease of use, good software, very fast when compared to a traditional scanner you'd find on a household all-in-one printer.Cons: Not exactly sure if scans are saved individually, and the charge did run down to half even while hooked to my PC during scanning. But I was doing A LOT of scanning over and over again, so probably wouldn't be an issue except for VERY heavy use.Overall very satisfied with the scanner.

I may have received a defective item that was previously returned. I did NOT purchase a used item... I purchased new. It arrived with signs of having been previously opened, including double tape on all packaging and fingerprints on the scanner itself. I waited 36 days to receive it after ordering, so I figured I'd give it a try before sending it back and waiting another month for a replacement.I've been struggling to get this thing connected and working for several hours now, with no luck. I've used numerous printers and scanners over the years, at home and in the office. I've even worked with large, complicated multifunctional machines as an administrative assistant for two large state agencies. I'm usually pretty good at installing drivers and using this type of hardware with no issues, so I don't think it's user error. It appears to connect and everything looks good... it even grabs a sheet when I insert it. But the scan button is completely unresponsive. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times, restarted we writing several times, and still nothing.So after waiting all this time, now I'm going to have to return it anyway. Needless to say, I'm not impressed!

I purchased this wireless portable scanner for my parents as they are starting to declutter their belongings. My parents finally agreed to let go of their personal computer to iPad and they have not looked back. While I got them a wireless printer, at first, I thought they would not need a scanner. I probably should have purchased a wireless printer with a scanner for them at that time, but it was too late now. Searched Amazon for an affordable wireless scanner that my parents could use at ease with their iPads. Decided on this product as it was affordable and stated it will work with iOS.While the scanner works and is small and portable, since my parents no longer have a personal computer, it was hard to set up the scanner to the Wi-Fi. The only way around this was to set up the scanner in Wi-Fi Direct mode, where the iPad searches for a Wi-Fi signal (which the scanner has) in setting mode and connects to the scanner directly. To scan, you need to download the Epson app in the Apple App Store. After you are done scanning, you would have to go back to the Wi-Fi setting in settings mode and select the Wi-Fi that has the internet. This was inconvenient (switching back and forth the Wi-Fi settings to make it work), but at least this scanner does work with my parents iPad and now I can have them scan items rather than take a picture from their phone and sending me a picture. I recommend buying if you want a small, portable scanner that works with iOS, if you do not mind the slight inconvenience of switching the Wi-Fi settings.

It was easy to set up to wirelessly connect to my PC and Android phone. Smooth document feed. Software worked well, but a desktop shortcut wasn't automatically created on the PC; no issues on Android mobile. Scans are crisp. The size is nice and small for portability, if needed. Charged quickly.
