New Look Misses' Coat with Hood Sewing Pattern Packet, Design Code S9129, Sizes XS-S-M-L-XL, Multicolor

This is the perfect pattern for up-cycling vintage quits into coats I've made the size small 3 times now for my daughters and I. We all like the fit. My daughter is 5'10" 130lbs she loves it. The other daughter is 5'8" and 150lbs and I'm 5'5" 160lbs. I wanted it long like a duster but I had to shorten the length on mine so I didn't trip on it. I don't remember what the pattern instruction say but about finishing the seam but the over all construction was fairly simple. I did flat felled seams which was tricky inside the final arm seams but the finish was worth the effort.

I love the cut of the coat from this pattern. I will use it again and again.

I am a well trained seamstress and for me this was a very easy pattern to cut out, matching the front edges and pockets. The directions, even though I didn't need them, were very easy to follow and would be good for a seamstress at any level. Lovely pattern.

Perfect for my quilt coat

Took a while to arrive. Will be collecting fabric to make coats for this fall.

I have not made this pattern as yet, but it should be a typical New Look pattern. The pattern is new.Price was great and delivered quickly.

What a great pattern! So glad I bought it!Pretty simple to follow. Just pick a size and go!The pattern is thin enough to fold over and use a ruler to keep from accidentally cutting into the pattern itself and still able to cut accurately along the lines!
