Update cigar lighter to power outlet.
Wanted to update old cigar lighter to this more modern power outlet.Works a treat.

Looks sturdy enough for it's environment
Haven't fitted it yet but it looks sturdy enough for the job it's destined to do, simply charging a tablet on a small motor boat, will update once I have fitted, having said that the image makes it look like the voltmeter is under the cover and until I powered it up I would have sworn it wasn't...but it was and looked cool glowing in blue

Voltmeter and double phone charger
Neat, easily fitted and works well. Even better if there had been different charge rates on the charger sockets but this is not picking. Quality item but a bit pricey.

Easy to fit and looks great
It was very easy to replace my old cigar lighter with this more up to date version. It looks great too. The voltage gauge is a handy feature

Appears to be well made.
Easy to fit although larger diameter than the socket I it replaced. Only minus is that the usb sockets are not iluminated, otherwise great piece if kit.

Good but on the bigger side
I bought this usb quick charger for my car to be fitted in the centre console. The product feels sturdy and heavier. It came with the cables for wiring along with 2 spare blue crimps. When I tried to install, I realised that it was projecting way too much, impinging on the parking brake handle (due to the carger+ electride+ wire crimp connector). If it was slightly shorter, then I would not have had any issues with the installation. Ended up drilling another hole, and finally managed to secure it. A bit fiddly, but i was very happy with the final outcome.Couple of things I have noted,1. The wire is slightly shorter (? 28cms) in case you want to install further away from power harvesting point2. The 2 usb points are rotated by 180 degrees-: if you want to use a different port, then you have to rotate the USB wire by 180 degrees. It would have been easier if both USB slots were oriented in the same angle to avoid twisting of wires.The built quality of the charger as such was very good and feels heavy in your hands. Would recommend for those who love DIY.
