My "baby" started having hip and back pain. The vet recommended this product and it works great. She can run and play without pain again. She also loves the taste.

My beagles are older and they seem to do better with the cosequin in combination with a change in diet.

I would highly recommend these joint health supplements for dogs. Firstly, the fact they're safe for pets is a big tick. The presence of Glucosamine and MSM in the tablets is another plus, as these compounds are known to support joint health. Nigel the dog is happier than ever, moving like a puppy since taking this product. He’s a 13 year old retriever mix who has been taking this product for the last week & I noticed incredible results after the 2nd day. Now I can’t keep him from jumping on my bed which he hasn’t been able to do for the last 2 years.—/January 1st: I am updating this review as Nigel has been on Cosequin for almost 2 months. The transformation has been amazing. Prior to Cosequin he could make it around the block. Now we are doing 4-5 mile walks. Today we did 6.5. He’s happier, moving very well and even able to jump onto the couch & my bed. This ya be the only downside as I don’t like the dogs (I have 3 rescues) on the bed or furniture. However, all joking aside he is definitely a happy dog and enjoys his walks with his 2 girls!!

As my small dogs mature to ages 6yr and 8yr, I remember the joint pains our older dogs of past years eventually encountered. Discussed this with our vet and this was mentioned as effective and affordable. It is easy to order and both dogs love it as though it were a treat. So if it helps in some small way to prevent the arthritis of a 14 yr old dog, it is worth it. I cannot promise that it will but have hopes.
