Replacement Tube by Reliance Medical fits Littmann® Cardiology IV® Stethoscope - Cardiology 4® (All Black)

Works perfectly and has good acoustics as replacement tubing for my Littmann Cardiology IV stethoscope. I was worried that the low price point would mean poorer performance, but that is not the case from my experience with this product.

Great quality, fits in the stethoscope head and is not loose. The earpieces are well-made and have held up well as this is the second tubing replacement I have purchased. Save yourself some money and replace the tubing instead of buying a whole new stethoscope.

I have a cardiology 3 bell and this fit perfectly as a replacement tubing.

I am a physician and find the sound quality with this tubing and ear pieces to be equivalent to the original Littman tubing although it is somewhat less thick.

Excellent replacement, great sound quality at low price

No dislikes about the product. Very close to original tubing. Feels a bit rubber-er compared to the original, and a bit longer. You will still get your crystal clear lung and heart sounds. Very nice replacement if something happened to original tubing like my dog chewed up mine. If you kept the drum, great. It will fit right into the tubing. Highly recommend.

I’m a licensed veterinarian - and I’ve been around awhile. I’ve always used Littman stethoscopes - I had a chance to compare several brands before I went off to school, and thought they had the best product. As I got more experience, I ended up sticking with the cardiology series. My last Littman Cardiology IV wore out with time (as the rubber tubing does), so I ordered this tubing as a replacement to see if I could use it longer.This tubing is absolutely not as advertised - it does fit the bell of the cardiology IV, but it is one tube - not 2. I had to cut the old tube off of the bell (no surprise) - and the thickness of the tube of the replacement is about 1-2 mm less than the cardiology IV original - and it lacks the septum in the center to allow transduction of sound into each ear individually. This will translate to some auditory loss due to the waves bouncing and cancelling itself out. It still works - the sound isn’t that bad. But if your stethoscope needs require enough subtle sound transduction to require the cardiology IV, this tubing is an immediate downgrade.I ended up ordering a whole new stethoscope, and I’m keeping this downgrade as a backup. Should not be advertised as replacement tubing for Littman cardiology IV (or any cardiology stethoscope, frankly).
