I Love These Towels
I purchased 2 sets of the 4-piece bath towels, 1 of the 4-piece hand towels, and 1 of the 6-piece washcloths, all in white. I am so glad that I did! For me, it is very difficult to purchase towels online. I really like being able to give them a good "squish" before deciding to purchase. Usually, when I do purchase towels online they are for something, like my camper or powder room, where if they are not great I won't be too disappointed. This time I was purchasing them for my master bath where they would get daily use and where the softness, thickness, dry-ability, and wearability would matter. I also wanted a bath towel that was large enough to wrap around an average-size adult, but not super long like a bath sheet. Oh, and I didn't want to spend a fortune on them. I read reviews for so many different brands and finally settled on this one and I am so far very, very pleased! They feel super soft and very plushy and they dry you off very well. They are very thick, which is what I want, but because that and where and how they hang in my bathroom, sometimes they will not dry completely overnight (just slightly damp still the next morning). I am okay with this because they are just so soft and plushy and because in my space, I have multiple towels available that I can alternate. For the record, I purchased and have been using them daily since January, 2025, I change all my bath towels at least every week, washcloths and hand towels 2 to 3 times a week, and I wash them in hot water and I use bleach. Yes, it's only been a month but, so far, they are holding up great! As other reviewers have noted, the first drying will give off a lot of lint, but that does taper off quite a bit with subsequent drying. I like these towels so much that I am going to purchase more for my guest bathroom! I highly recommend these towels!

Chakir Turkish Linen are hotel quality!
I purchased these hand towels because I like the hotel quality feel, the price was right and they look so nice in my bathroom. I know that they will last for years! Now I have hotel quality towels at home!

Nice, big bath towels
A good size with a nice fluffy feel. Absorbency is adequate, although the water seems to stay on the surface of the towel instead of soak into the towel but not so much as to make uncomfortable. Highly recommend washing with vinegar before using and rinsing twice with the second rinse a soak overnight as was suggested elsewhere. First drying produces a ton of lint but subsequent dryings are not so bad.

Love!
Love them! They wash up so nicely. They are soft and absorbent, and generously sized considering they are not a bath sheet.

Not great, not terrible. 3.6 stars.
Things I wish I had known before I bought four packs of four bath towels (16 total) from this vendor:- They're long, but narrow. My husband and son are around 6' tall so the length is great, but man are they weirdly narrow. I haven't measured them but they shrank in the wash (which is amazing, I followed the label instructions perfectly), but looking at them I'd put them maybe around 2' wide. Just, what.- They're not going to last long. I tore the plastic packaging off them (didn't use any tools, especially not sharp ones), and put them through 3 loads of baking soda wash and vinegar rinse in cold water on a regular washer cycle (not exactly gentle, but not exactly washboard either — in between, y'all know what I mean). Then dried them first on fluff (no heat) for 70 minutes. They weren't dry but some of the stitching on the seams is already coming unraveled, and after one final cycle on the lowest heat possible to dry them completely, the decorative band at each end is already shrinking & the towel fabric itself is puckering. Seeing as this is why I was in the market for new towels in the first place, I'm very very disappointed.- The colors are not as pictured. I got the turquoise, navy, green, and red ones. The turquoise and navy are good color-wise, but the green is dull and closer to an army or olive green and the red is dusty and more of a drab rose color. Really bummed about that.I'm short I thought I was getting nice new towels at a reasonable price to replace the 18 year old ones we currently have that are basically rags at this point. So I guess a year or two from now I'll be getting towels again. This sucks on one of those kinds of levels where you just kind of lose your will to fight and settle for what you got. They're cheap towels and you can tell. If you're looking for cheap towels for occasional use, go nuts. These are great for that. Not great for any length of years of durable use.
