ErgonautsMemory Foam Gel Enhanced Seat Cushion

Took a little while to get accustomed to, but saved a lot of pain on a recent flight to and from Heraklion, and on bus journeys around Crete.Although perfect for an airline seat, I find it a little short in the car and on public transport, so I either hang over the back, or have the front digging into the backs of my thighs. I currently have Trochanteric Bursitis, which is extremely painful. The seat cushion made the flight more bearable and also makes driving and public transport possible.

The Ergonauts Memory foam lumber support provides support to the lower back and actually you can feel the difference from the first days when you start to use it. I used it for a couple of weeks and when seated I could relax my back and my posture became a bit better as well. I liked that there is an ergonomic curve on the cushion that naturally rests against your back and supports it. The overall quality of the product is good (no stitches seen, the materials used are good, no nasty chemical smell). There is no sign of the wear after these weeks. Currently I am on maternity leave, so I used it every day while eating, reading or watching something. This memory foam support definitely made my chair more comfortable and I felt better while seated. There are straps and you can easily place it on the chair and fix it, but I wish there were more options for adjusting straps (in my case the straps were a bit too long). However if you use this cushion on a computer desk chair which is bigger, it fits perfectly. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. Moreover,I feel that if I continue use it regularly, this cushion can help me with my posture and reduce problems such as back pain.

I bought this after giving birth as I found it quite painful when I got up after sitting for prolonged periods of time, especially because of the pressure on my tailbone. It seemed to help as after sitting on this cushion I didn't feel that much pain when getting up.FYI - it's quite a wide cushion so it doesn't fit into seats with handles on the sides, so I use it on the sofa.

I brought this cushion because of the reviews I read and that I have sciatica. I thought it would help with this. The first day I used it I thought this is great, it was comfortable and gave me the support that I needed. However the next day the pain I felt in my lower back was not good. So I don't know if the cushion is helping with my posture and strenthing the muscles in my lower back or the cushion is just not right for me. I have been using the cushion for over a week now and my back is still bad. I will preserve with this for a bit longer and see what happens.

Bought this after a recommendation from a friend . Like the carry handle and the fact that so far, it’s kept it’s shape well . Not too soft, not too firm .Tried it in the car but personally don’t think it worked as well as a normal dining chair.Remember to use it the right way round !
