Now installed and working away well. All dead easy, nice value little pump pulling only 7Watts, so good for continual use in my garden water feature. The tree outlet options allowed me to find a bit of plastic piping in my garage to fit.A little longer cable would have been better for me but I suspect the cable is long enough for most applications such as indoor aquaria.

Pump is for a small fishpond which gets very dirty., so I have installed a "biological filter" (whatever that means). It has foam membranes and also curly pieces of plastic underneath them. So I believe you don't want a very fast flow, the bacteria will need time to work. The filter is very effective - over time, it takes out an enormous amount of gunge.Have had two previous pumps over ten years, would buy same model but of course they don't exist now.Had to choose another, and there's loads on Amazon., finished up picking this Barst model.Tiny pump arrived. When fitted, the flow is much better than I was expecting. (Not much head from pond surface to filter though).. Previous pumps had foam filters but this model has only a coarse plastic screen, so I made a nylon mesh bag to cover it. Time will tell if it's enough to protect the pump.The instructions are absolutely appalling and I'd say useless. Obviously there's not much you need to know, but it's not at all clear that the inlet screen is adjustable presumably to control the flow. To get to the impeller to clean it, you have to flirt-off the end cover which is not at all obvious. These pumps all seem to have 3-core cable but it's a mystery to me why they need to be earthed as they're totally encapsulated in waterproof plastic. The fuse fitted in the mains plug is 13A - should really be 3A at the most. Anyway, the pond water seems to be getting clearer and the fish look happy.

The media could not be loaded. Brilliant bit of kit, would have got 5 stars with a longer cable. Bought for a small “wildlife” pond, keep the water moving, does what it needs to do!

Worked great won't produce the highest flow rate for a fountain but was using to send water through an older type water feature and worked like a charm.

Nice little pump. No way it pumps 350 litres per hour as claimed as I wanted it to empty a paddling pool.

Works well and seems to be good quality.

This small water pump works well in the small water feature in the garden. I bought a pump a year ago to replace the original but it was a bit too big so I got this one and it is just right.

Works as described. Last similar pump lasted years then got stolen. A review of this pump is of little value at such an early stage.
